  • i think im the only guy at my high school that loves this music

  • @SinicalToaster I was that kid too man...only guy in high school jamming blues on the harmonica.

  • look up for a Johnny Woods record entitled "So many cold mornings". It's GREAT.

    Thanks for the post

  • does any one have any biographical information on johnny woods? he is an incredible harmonica player but i can't find anything on him

  • Johnny hailed from Mississippi. Como I think. Fred McDowell said Johnny was his favorite blues harp player. RL and Fred were neighbors in Como and I'm sure Johnny lived nearby.

I used to know Johnnys birth date but can't recall it. Johnny is most likely Freds age so that would put him about 75 years old in this vid.

  • @fuxgood how do you know this?

  • Several sources, one being RL himself.

  • @fuxgood you met him? awesome

  • Spent a great deal of time drinking Buds with RL and his son Duwayne. Very nice people. A laugh a minute.

    RIP RL. Miss you.

  • Well Maniacop100 maybe it's because the blues at its best reveals a condition of the soul, a deep human feeling, and it's easy to relate to, no matter your age or background. These musicians are having some serious fun. I'm 52 from New England and can't get enough of this music since i was a teenager. I wish there was youtube then....

  • R L is the man.....awesome music here kids, dont be fooled. Burn a fattie ,pop A TOP, and enjoy

  • i atcherly like this music, i am a young kid from england and i like this for some reason lol.
