the air corps still carry out the majority of air ambulance duties in ireland with the new aw139 and ec135 both of which are fully equipped to do the job and the learjet 45 and casa are used to transfer patients to other countries for treatment. how ever i believe that air ambulance is a civillian matter and the all ireland air ambulance is a huge step in the right direction
