Listen VERY carefully. Every video I've ever seen of Dedede in SSBB, I always made sure to hear how the announcer prounonced his name and it has ALWAYS been "deh-deh-deh".

In the case of Olimar, many people thought that his name was "Orima" ("オリマ") in Japan, because it's an anagram of "Mario" ("マリオ"), but it has always been "Orimaa" ("オリマー"), with an elongated "a" at the end (trust me, it makes a difference.) You should never use Dedede's forward smash over his forward tilt. I dont think you used his forward tilt at all from what I noticed...
