She sang this live btw. if you cant see her vocal cords moving then that's your fault. her and john both sang, and they are all obviously playing instruments. the tv show that this was on over dubbed them and added clapping from the weird dancing girls/ audience. Amy has proved a billion times that she can sing live. nuff said.

My guess is that this was shown on tv. And on tv usually you get a lot of playback due to technical difficulties when a live band is playing. Evanescence are a fantastic band.

Yes, it seems weird to us, but some countries actually prefer and demand playback (lip-synch) on recorded shows. In some places its due to copyright laws, in some its about censorship laws. You could tell the band understood this and put up with it but were purposely "overacting" the lyrics. Its a cultural thing, some countries hate it, others prefer it.

On the plus side, we get to see Amy be really energetic and theatrical, which you don't often get to when she's actually concentrating on sounding good. Only rarely are their live performances when she sounds at top form but is also highly mobile.

Sadly, this one was catually lip-synched, but the band showed up to play and were told by the producers that they were synching, they didn't really have a choice. Any real Ev fan knows John doesn't sound like that, and Amy sounds different live.

And WTF @ the strippers? Amy looks as pissed about them as she does being forced to lip-synch. Poor Amy. This whole band deserves better.
