  • Anyone else think the thumbnail for this video looked like he was airborne?

  • @GPNflyman1 The only time people switch from motorcycles to cars is wen they are too old and decrepit to ride a bike anymore. They are both fun, in a very different way.

  • BMW rulz

  • motor jeste zajebbbisty

  • na góże rurze kuźwa

  • jakie przyspieszenie! O_o

  • isn't it the nurburgring gp racetrack??

  • well... freude am fahren :)

  • not another car vs bike shit...

  • @MrRunescapeowns2 To follow the long line of comments slating you, i'll post a constructive link;

Pay particular attention at 3:37 to where he says if you think all they do is turn a wheel, you are very wrong.

  • @MrRunescapeowns2 haha you're funny because you're an idiot XD

  • Alter Alter....

    Leck mich im Arsch...

  • kto wygral? KUBICA!

  • eitherway i wouldve loved to be either one of those guys but it think the bike shouldve been a little more competitive like a hayabusa and he shouldve been ducking down more idk i really cand say cool ish, tho

  • @dillionvanpatten

More competitive like a hayabusa? This bike will smoke the fuck out of a busa. The busa is a bitch in the corners, all it does good is going fast in a straight line.

  • @Regret696 Very true! Busa for the drag strip only.

  • @dillionvanpatten dude wat if they hit the concrete at :33 and :43

  • @dillionvanpatten Its a countdown marker to tell them when to brake

  • Nurburgring?

  • @MrRunescapeowns2 If you are clueless as to what you are talking about - please shut up!!

F1 is simply the most physically demanding sport there is because of the massive and constantly shifting G-forces.

Dangerous? Latest fatality happened 17 years ago while the bike series just keep piling up the bodies!

  • CardiffGallery.co.uk

  • @MrRunescapeowns2 You think taking 4 g's through high speed corners is easy?

Give credit where its due, F1 cars are beastly

  • @GPNflyman1 i got a motorcycle because i was little bored with the cars.

  • @GPNflyman1 Lol you guys sound like you dont have a license...

  • Of course the F1 is faster, bikes can be bought and used on the street, F1 is just too fast to be legal on the street. F1 ftw.

  • @SamsungGX20 Bike: ~ 200 hp, car: ~650 hp

Also, its obvious the car is gonna win in the turns, its 4 wheel...

  • @khronoGTA well car weight vs bike weight, but yea, in the corners, no chance

  • @khronoGTA Quoting HP without quoting weight and drag is pointless. A MotoGP bike has a better power to weight ratio than a F1 car.

In the turns it is a tossup. In tight direction changes the bike will win since it is so narrow. In fast turns the F1 will win due to downforce. # of wheels means nothing.

  • I have to admit that the F1 car is faster thant the SBK on any track. But the SBK is very close in acceleration especialy from a rolling start. Check the videos from races in Magny cours for example where F1 and SBK where racing (last chicane, start finish line). I've been in MC several time to watch F1 and SBK. And these bike are really, really quick. And you know what ? You can buy a superbike from the shops ! (well a superstock 1000 at least.).

  • @arjennovic fuk yur mum

  • @killahfromanilah Oh there's the 'mum joke' again...

  • @arjennovic Why put a person on the smallest fastest machine you can build? When you get bored with 4 wheels and actually try it, maybe you'll understand.

  • @arjennovic Why put a person on the smallest fastest machine you can build? When you get bored with 4 wheels and actually try it, maybe you'll understand.

  • @arjennovic At least you can own the bike. I also don't have to sit in traffic jams for hours on my bike. I am not trashing F1 cars because I really think they make the best dam sound of any vehicle, but still.

  • although i love bikes an drive one everyday i have to say the f1 car would rip any bike!! :(

  • Arguing over this stuff is dumb. Ruben has a massive cock and balls, nuff said.

  • bikes are slow and gay

  • @martinh88

Bikes are faster than all cars except F1 cars, so unless u can afford an F1 car STFU retard.

  • @StigRossi f1 cars and gp2 cars

  • @martinh88

The only thing slow and gay is your mental capacity. A STOCK liter bike (say a S1000rr) could perform equal to or out perform all types of racing except F1. And given the fact that you will never own a F1 car the closet thing to that level of performance you could get would be a superbike. You stupid fucking faggot.

  • @himmelfrhat1 motorbikes are for poofters.

  • @himmelfrhat1 rally car pwns your bike

  • @himmelfrhat1 An F1 car and a superbike come close in performance ONLY in acceleration! And no,it's not the closest thing to that level of performance!Try putting those 2 on the same race track and the bike will be 20 or more seconds off pace. There are many cars closer to F1 than that.

  • @eloria1965 Which cars?

  • Bikes are often better on dirt or sharper turns.

    Sebastien Loeb vs Stephan Everts:

  • kurcze,ale odejscie ma ten bolid.miazga

  • No way a bike can beat a race car through the corners, a more interesting race would have been on a straight away...or average their times and give the bike a head start...nice concept though..wonder we didn't see this on myth-busters... a biker would die trying to win this race...center of... gravity is a bitch.

  • Hmmmmm... it all just sounds like a symphony playing to me...

  • 1:16 awesome

  • @Wiciu96

  • WHO IS THE CAMERAMAN ??!!!!!!! MOHAMAD ALI ?

  • this is so hot..

  • who needs girls?

  • in corners car will olways win because of four wheels, pure physics

  • @wowerman That is a very simplistic view. F1 will beat any vehicle by a very long way in a lap of a racing circuit. MotoGP and Superbikes will outcorner over 99% of cars including lots of sports cars, sports sedans and Supercars. A few sports cars and Supercars will outcorner MotoGP. It depends on the car and the radius of the corner. In slow to medium corners, a sports car will out corner a sports bike. In large radius turns it's about even. Does a Toyota Corolla outcorner a Ducati 1098?

  • 1:15 I love that soud <3

  • Nurburgring right?

  • @PodTony I was thinking exactly the same thing.

  • MotoGP is slower no doubt about it, a bike has two wheels to do all the work of transfering the power to the track and steering, and a F-1 car has four wheels for the same job, plus and F-1 has a huge, and when I say huge I mean really HUGE, aerodinamic downforce that the bike doesnt have, problem solved...

Its when you compare the pure difficulty of both disciplines when you realize that otherwise the cars are faster but the bike are way more challenging to ride fast, and way more dangerous

  • @Semeiron Don't confuse fast and quick. F1 is quicker than any vehicle around a race track. Quick means lowest elapsed time and therefore the highest average speed. MotoGp bikes regularly post higher maximum speeds compared to F1 and because Moto is slower around bends than F1, Moto must accelerate harder. In respect to danger, just compare F1 deaths to MotoGP deaths. There isn't as much difference as you might assume.

  • Put a MotoGP pilot on a F-1 car and he may take a few laps to drive it well.

Put a F-1 pilot on a MotoGP bike and he may take a few laps to kill himself.

  • xaus is SHIT hes always crashing

  • This is the most stupid shit I've ever seen.

Can someone please explain to me what the hell the point of this is? Anyone who thinks that ANY bike is even REMOTELY in the same league as an F1 car has to be utterly insane.

The difference is so huge that it is not a contest at all, you might just as well race a 1500 kg Volvo sedan with a 100 hp engine against a Ferrari Enzo.

  • @getpagesize Moto Gp bikes accelarate as quick if not quicker than F1. MotoGp bikes reach higher top speeds than F1 on some tracks. F1 is much faster around turns, pulling higher G's and brake much later. Lap times are in favour of F1 by about 15%. You are very much mistaken if you imagine that there are not some performance parameters that are not comparable between F1 and MotoGP. Michael Schumacher thinks so as he was riding in the domestic Superbike competition during his retirement.

  • @droceretik ...I dont see the comparisons The engineers of formula 1 can make the car go as fast as they want that includes gear ratios and downforce/lack thereof and a formula 1 car can easily break 220+ mph. I think one of the repsol hondas touched 202 mph at Qatar this year in race trim. if we put a formula 1 car down the straight at Qatar or indianapolis against a moto gp bike the formula 1 car would beat the bike easily it's just the way it is.

  • @jraybay In the real world, not in a hypothetical potential scenario, MotoGP bikes pull higher top speeds on some circuits and accelerate harder. Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna and Damon Hill are/were motorcycle enthusiasts and sought to get there kicks from high performance motorcycles. I don't see that the physical sensations of driving Formula 1 and riding powerful Superbikes would be that different. I imagine both would give a big shot of adrenaline. Danny Pedrosa did 217 mph + (Wiki)

  • @getpagesize Get a grip. This is the BMW sauber formula 1 team having a ride around nurburgring with the BMW wsbk team. It's for fun organized by bmw racing and its not for comparison of a bike and a formula 1 car. Where did you get the idea that they were comparing these machines against eachother?? They are barely pushing them in this video too.

  • @TheYamR6Sp I'm sorry but you're wrong. You can check out a vid that's out there, Jenson Button with the Honda F1 car, and Dani Pedrosa with the Honda from MotoGP, and as soon as Jenson can put the car to full speed, Pedrosa sees his tail for the rest of the lap - when they turn the first corner, Button is way ahead Pedrosa. You can't compare bikes with cars, even if just because of the amount of money invested, a F1 car will always be much faster.

  • @havatzeleth Quicker, not faster. Lap times are quicker for F1. The F1 car maintains a high average lap speed but the maximum speeds are often in favour of the MotoGP bikes because the wings are tuned for downforce, not top speed.. The F1 cars are much faster into, through and out of turns but despite bikes exiting turns 20 - 30% slower, the bikes equal or exceed F1 top speeds. Therefore they must accelerate quicker under some circumstances!

  • Wie ktoś co to za tor? Jeśli tak to proszę o odp na PW

  • @mati1507951

    nurburgring

  • Try this with a moto gp bike, it will eat the f1 car and spit it out!

  • Wow the bike looks so slow in comparison.

  • Wiadomo że Robert wygra z każdym ! :D

  • Nurburgring?

  • Dont forget Ruben wasnt actually racing!!! he cant have been,he stayed on.

  • i give more credit to the guy on the bike because it seems alot harder! the guy in the car is just whipping those conners

  • im more into moto but this is cool

  • to przejscie na tej Sce jest niesamowite;)

  • I wanna make a music from these sounds.

  • comparing a f1 against a superbike is like comparing a gp2 against another superbike, better compare motogp vs f1 ;)

  • @khronoGTA

To what point and purpose? Until and unless you fit downforce to a bike (and you never would) the bike simply cannot make use of the physics that a car with downforce can. Give the bike unlimited horsepower, it will make no difference since it cannot accelerate beyond 9.81ms/s (presuming a coefficient of friction of 1 between tyre and road).

  • @Squawkerd Wrong, watch any motogp vs suberbike comparasion on YT.

  • @khronoGTA

Wh bother with videos? I simply go with the physics involved or the raw stats. An F1 car can hit 0-100-0 (mph) in the same time it takes the bike to hit 100mph (around 5 seconds). The issue is simply one of downforce, as the car accelerates air flowing over the body results in an increase in the normal force (force pushing vertically downwards from the car). The issue is governed by Newton (F=ma) and friction. Make the track sticky and it might be different, but we don't, so it aint

  • @Squawkerd I simply go and say that sbk is modified normal street bike, and a motogp is a prototype which is much more developed

  • @khronoGTA stfu, u lose. Squawkerd wins. F1 is the ultimate sport, no competition. End of story.

  • @AngryBF2Nerd werent you punished? go to bed nerd

  • bikerboy can't keep up fantastic

  • BMW Motarrd is the best, I'm saving up for an s1000rr.

  • 0:00 - 0:12 and 1:16 - 1:25

  • Łeee, byślałem, że Robert jeszcze na motorze poginać będzie :D

  • the bike got raped!!!

  • @MrEd94 no surprise cause the car is faster in turns but bikes more fun ;)

  • atleast Xaus was riding more at the limit because if you fall with the bike that hurts way more than driving with that over safed "cars" into a wall

  • @icepaiper What are you on about, dont flame the safety in F1, it makes sense they care about that, but yes riding a bike fast takes more balls then driving an F1 car fast, but Im sure they are both quite scary.

  • @icepaiper I dont think there is much difference between them except its two diff. types of vehicles

  • no need for coffee in the morning, just listen to the sound of F1 engine .

    It`s F1 in your cup.

  • 1:03 best song ever

  • yea, a motorcycle doesn't hold shit to a f1 car-but a f1 car can go 0-125 and back to 0 in 7 seconds, a motorcycle can do that almost in the same time and cost $10,000

  • @assman12354 Lol sorry dude, but even a moto GP bike can't even begin to keep up with an f1 car, let alone a street bike.

  • @assman12354 Too many people think the bikes are slow but they are far from it, It's only the braking and cornering where they suffer but having said that, i'm sure if you asked any f1 driver who has ridden a superbike properly, they would say the bike is a lot of fun and draging your knee on a track is awsome experience and it feels so much faster too and the amount of effort needed to ride a bike fast would shock most car drivers. They are two different sports and both fantatic in their ways

  • @benjyboba i agree with u, I have a TL1000 rw and have to say is really strong and i can pull so many tricks on it, always give me adrenaline kick right from the start

  • Hah car from 2008 season. The best BMW F1 car.

  • Really couldnt care about the video. I was just listening to the f1 car lol.

  • 0.34 WOW kolanem prawie ziemi dotykał mam F1 2008 Deluxe i SBK 09 Superbike World Championschip i mogę nimi obydwoma pojeździć ; )

  • @wojtek12NFS zazdroszcze........ ja nawet nie mam PlayStiation :(

  • Xaus looks like he's taking it a bit easy.

  • @mako7828

it's not Ruben Xaus. this is Nick Heidfild. type "nick heidfeld riding BMW S1000RR" and you'll find.

  • @szeldon

    sry mate thats not right.

on the small track it was a little race between Robert an Ruben.

on the long version of the track Troy and Nick changed their vehicles.

  • @szeldon is that why it has XAUS on the leathers ?

  • Wow, BMW really went bonkers on the aero side there.

  • .....газуууууууу!!!

  • Robert Kubica Jest Najlepszy :]]]];]]];]]];]]]

  • Kubica + Polish Pro Racer F1

  • Verry Verry GOOD 2

  • Pointless

  • Kubica is the best

  • kubica kozak uwielbiam go

  • but Ruben driving like with a harley :)

  • Verry Verry GOOD

  • motorcycle vs f1 .... motorcycles are fast but mother of god they cannot turn as fast as an f1

  • @superjames565653 ur pa got killed in 1940?

  • @superjames565653 Well, dipshit, you would really hate driving it if the fins WERE NOT there.

  • Well i can buy the S1000RR and go very fast, but a F1 car... xd

  • hah, awesome

  • Wow the noise at the end of the clip must have been ear shattering!

  • Robert win xD

  • No it´s a BMW S 1000 RR!

  • it is a barbie sbk

  • cool wideo nice robert well done

  • @grassm5

pisz po polsku baranie i nie rób siary

  • Going to miss the BMW F1 Sauber Team. I hope they return to F1 soon! I heard their work ethics in practices are great. Just a pretty car.

    The Superbike is sweet too.

    Bmmmmmmw

  • F1 burnout for the win! Nothing replaces that SOUND

  • Xaus isn't even pushing it.

  • Cars are cars, bikes are poetry in motion.

  • F1 cars are just amazing but bikes are ten times more exciting.

  • go in both, f1 cars are very exciting lol

  • No doubt they are very exciting and the technology is utterly amazing but even Michael Schumacher has been quoted as saying the most exciting thing he's done is ride a Ducati Superbike around the track.

  • @a2birdcage then how come he is back in F1 again? the cobbler is a lying cheater pos

  • salawalawarni m8

  • Both BMW in F1 and SBK are flop this year. They are not able show the enough performance. I think they need to satisfy racing like this among themselves after the main racing events. Very shame.

  • Well can we see you both drive and ride the BMW machines and get 1st place? I'm sure you'd inspire Robert Kubica, Nick Heidfeld, Ruben Xaus, and Troy Corser.
