great video. from the top of this parking garage can you spot all the movements?? is this palce better then the other parking garages?? my binoculars are 16-40x50, i should be going over to iah in september this year hopefully. thanks..
There is a pilot at my church and he is a first officer of a 777 but he's a captain for a 737 he is a very nice guy anyways from where were you standing looking at the airplanes.
@BigSam3788 When winds are calm in the evening, it seems they like to land the planes on 27/26L/26R and take them off on 15L/15R. Ive seen it multiple times.
@TonyMcGriffles Ok just because someone broke their arm and you know about it doesn't mean you know mare about the airline than me! Ok!!! I have been in a CO CRJ too! Oh so cool!!! NO ONE CARES but i know more! My uncles friend is CO CEO!!!
Continental Express is comprised of ERJ 135 (being phased out), ERJ 145 (ER, LR, XR) (those flow by X/ Express jet) and CRJ-400 (Shataqua Air). The one seen in the video is a CRJ.
When ever I fly from San Antonio to Houston and land at IAH I usual think of the elder Bush not either of his sons. I really do like that airport. I think those are Continental Express ERJs not CRJs. I think they do have both but the CRJs have a slightly thicker appearance.
I think it's a fine name. The name was changed in 1997 to honor George H. W. Bush. While I'm not a huge fan of naming airports after people, the powers that were in Houston decided to, and I think Bush is a fine choice, having been present at the airports opening as a Congressman from Houston in 1969. Being a former US President who calls Houston home doesn't hurt either.
Is the Lufthansa a 747 or an Airbus that I don't know about. I think I stood in the same spot watching plane land but they were landing in the opposite direction. Great video!!!!!!! I might try to go to the airport ot watch planes land and get some video and post it on YouTube. Keep on making those vids!!!!!!
my mom works for air canada at IAH! I love going to work and watching all the planes come in. Love the Jazz, really surprising to see that, they only have 6 flights a day! Just in the right place at the right time i guess :)

that first 777 landing was INCREDIBLY smooth. very nicely done 5 stars to the pilot
nic777morrey 2 years ago
777 landings are done and controlled by a computer...
TylerjdFilms 2 years ago
@TylerjdFilms
technically not all landings are done by a computer. ILS landings are in use if visibility is not well or weather conditions

The front wheel of the 737 at 5:18 touched down really late. Just saying.

The Lufthansa plane is an Airbus A340-600. They used that model through this year (2008), but have now switched to the 747.

Thanks for that explanation. It even has little winglets!!

I'd be afraid getting interrogated by airport security or someone reporting me for suspicious activity.
