I used to think that the final section of March of the Black Queen was the intro to this song. To be honest, it sounds much better with it in place. (If Wikipedia is to be believed, that final section of MOTB was actually part of an abandoned song).

Guess I'm not the only person who thought this because I just read somewhere (and already I've forgotten where) that there's an official non-album of FHLI which retains that section as the intro.

Anyway, IMHO the effect was probably intentional and would explain why FHLI lacks a strong intro of its "own"; although officially a part of the previous track, it's a part of the album's flow and belongs to both.
