The idea of economics is essentially to become as efficient as posible, and in turn, the efficiency ultimately will benefit all members of society. Take for example, an expansion in the economy raises GDP and lowers unemployment. Why would this be bad? "Employment" has become a necessary inherent objective to help those in poverty because of the way the world developed. If you want to benefit society, why would studying econ or learning econ be bad?? I would love to hear wat you think!

But that is not what Money truly is. Money emerged as a tool of exchange and actually had value (gold and silver coins) in history. However, Peter never mentions this fact once - he only presents a limited view of current money. I feel this is unjust and people only see what Peter wants them to see.

Civilization is a system of systems that worked in the past. They aren't necessarily the best systems, especially in the post-industrial age of science. If we were more universally scientific, we'd actively fund experimental alternatives on a large scale (e.g. 1% of available global resources/energy) and readily integrate fruitful results. Instead we're religious about our 'mental boxes'. Cui bono? It's the 'priests' (economic, etc) perpetuating their memes. We need a 'punctuated equilibrium'.

I thought it was clear to me... you don't need any degrees to learn information. As with Jaque Fresno, he dropped out of school at an early age and he is a very intelligent man, presently. We are the target audience... after all, we are the consumers.
