Great video, as always. Kept me entertained even though I will probably never fly Edelweiss Air. Seat didn't look that great but sounded like the service was excellent. Noticed that it seemed incredibly cold (even for 39,000 ft or whatever it was). I understand that this would have been because of the proximity to the North Pole but isn't there a time limit of going colder than -40C in case the fuel freezes or something like that?

@LufthansaA343 no, but my parents are both frequent flyer and they bought an business class ticket. We friendly asked at the counter and they let us in. But anyway, as you can see in the report, I bought an upgrade to business later on the plane, so I deserved it ;)

An excellent TR! Very nice. I agree with aviationnation10, that the seats look like premium economy. However, the food looks as good as LH's food. It simply looks outstanding. KLM MD-11 may be a rare site in Europe, but in San Francisco, they are almost always here. Long haul aircraft, I guess. Your parents are very generous to support your business class travels? Is your father an airline pilot? I wish I had parents like that!

@sfflyer123 thank you. yes, edelweiss is a leisure airline, so I couldn't expect much, but still better than economy :) This is the only business class trip my parents pay for, I have to pay for AC's and for the tenerife business flights. However, it's worth every penny I spend! No, my father isn't pilot. They are just frequent business class travelers, like you :D thank you for the nice words!

Love the shot of the MD-11...KLM still flies them to 2 Canadian cities...Vancouver and Montreal and during W11 and S12 seasons it looks like it's down to just Montreal because KLM is bringing the A330 to Vancouver. It's one the most instantly recognizable aircraft and one of my fav's. :)
