@zerocker45 the v-150 would be ideal to send into iraq and afghanistan. because of the urban combat, offering troops protection the same they would get from a tank, and at 55mph it could carry troops out of the war zone quickly after a some casualties or wounded. they should really stop sending heavy tanks to do the job a light armored vehicle could do, it would save alot time,money, and men.

@m1grand70 in afghanistan they dont really use tanks they are trying to prevent the mistake that the soviet's did because the enemy have the tactical position and you wont know where the shots are coming from and tanks are hard to manuver in rocky areas

@masonjenkins4 I use to work for the company that made these back in the early 90's. There was a guy that owned two v-100 vietnam era vehicles. They were actually used in the Free Jack movie(Mick Jagger). I dont think you can buy them anymore but I could be wrong.

I think this is similar to M1117 being used by US forces today in Iraq for escort and other security purposes, but V-150 is much lighter, thats why it can swim unlike the M1117 which is larger and heavier....
