Great episode but how in the Hell does the Pimp boyfriend riding a 500 cc Yamaha 2 stroke motorcycle catch up to Sonny(Don J) who is driving a Ferrari? He was on the second story balcony looking down when Sonny left & didn`t know where the safe house was located!
@Hot80s WHAT? Are you high? I have no idea what the heck you mean after "I think the 500cc Yam would kill" - "the smog 350 chevy in that "Mc Burnie(ferrari)on the street". A 500cc 2-stoke Yamaha street/dirt bike leaving after Sonny did in a true authentic Ferrari definitely does not have the speed nor handling on city streets to catch up to nevermind "kill" on the street especially when the MC rider is popping wheelies riding on the back tire! No control. But then again, it`s only make believe!
@Hot80s Then again, at the end when Sonny finally arrives at the safe house after he had realized Fiona is the "Ripper" supposedly protected by Tubbs and the phone`s busy - why does he pull up up on the right side of the classic blue "Cowboy Cadillac"? Farthest away from the front door when he had much more room to pull up closer on the left side right up against the front door steps? Television/movie BS - don`t the directors know fans dissect every shot for realism?
@HoustonVal In what quality mp3? Some songs I dont yet have in the best quality, especially I look for a good quality of David Johansen's King Of Babylon.
I agree: this scene plus the song made this more than awesome. But then my other favorites episodes host songs like We do what we are told from Peter Gabriel, or how about Tell Me, from Terry Cath, in the very last episode Freefall?
One of the best scene in whole Miami Vice! This and the one in the "Where The Buses Don't Run"-scene, in which the song Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits plays in the background, are my favourite scenes in television history!
One of MV's very best finale.

That song still makes my arm hairs stand up. Dark 80s are the best.

@954cudaman Oh right! That would have blocked the boyfriend pimp from riding up the steps crashing through the front doors!
