@SomeoneNamedTom most ppl that draw in pen do it because it gives you an option of doing color over the line work without it looking like a mess, also you can go a great bit faster with a good ball point pen, and finally you don't get smudges like with the pencil( unless you use an ink pen)... ink is great too, but that's another matter
