  • They banned burqas, because there is a law called "disguise prohibition". If you show your passport somewhere, you are normally recognizable by your face (embassy, public building, school). If a women is wearing a burqa, that is covering her face, your ID-card is useless. It could be anyone under the burqa. Btw .. if you have your face covered, you are not allowed to drive either.

  • And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons..." [Al-Qur'an 24:31]

  • Vote Ron Paul 2012

  • people not only love to destroy the world they love to destroy traditions and religions at their convinences, i mean i don't know what will i do if one mother fucker arest me because i am wearing a t shirt with a cross or a davi's star or tennis shoes. i am really mad with this stupid country, frech people always think that they are gods's shit and they are untouchable. shame on france

  • it's like to say why the pope in vatican wears armany, prada and gold made sandals when the 67% of the christians from Africa they don't have anything to eat or wear. i think is very hipocrit the way they act in france and those poeple who hate burqa..where are the human rights?????

  • 45 percent of women arond the world covers ther heads and sometimes their faces around the world, even indians women from panana, mexico etc so why stupid people want to destroy a tradition that some women acept and take the option to wear it by their own so there is more problems in the world to be fix fisrt than prohib this people wear whatever they fucking want to wear,

  • The Burka was right to be banned. If you look at the evidence it's quite clear.

  • i put a burqa on my lawn tractor, and i think all ugly people should be made to wear burqas by law. the guy on this video should wear one ...

  • Any culture or system which holds dearly the concept of covering its women up from head to toe, is a culture/system of sheer bullshit.

If you are one who disagrees with my mindset, FUCK YOU.

  • its not just france thats scared of the Muslims.

The whole west is shook of the Muslims.

When people are shook, they do stupid shit.

    everyone is shook.

  • if an american officer needs to see your face , think of what might happen if you show it or not. if you show it, you might be breaking a strong rule of islam, but you will help many people trust islam, and help them beleive that filthy animals like osama bin laden and want to enhance the name of islam, yet are too blind to see that they are ruining it!!If you dont show your face, you will not break a rule of islam, but u will effect islam dearly because then another person will not trust islam!

  • cenk. im muslim, and i kind of would hate if you if i didnt kind of agree with you.islami women sometimes overeact and say we are muslim , we should not have to show our faces or bodies to other people!! in the quran, it says you are not allowed to show your skin to men!! in this world, people have corrupted the name of islam , and called themselves heroes. we everyday muslims should try to cooperate with the worrying people who think islam is a bloothirsty religion.

  • Its obvious that Cenk doesn't know the full story to this when he points to why a ban is in place for burqas but no other religious clothing, do any of the other clothes cover the persons face? No. The sole reason as to why the burqa should be banned everywhere is that it is a security risk. The most common form of identification we have in every country is the face. The burqa gives certain individuals the right to not be identified while others wearing a ski mask for example can be questioned.

  • Banning burqas and turbans is a good idea, who knows what bombs they hide in there......

  • France made it illegal..that's a path that many other countries in the west must take.

  • yeah but Captain Kurk does not not wear a mask. If you wear a mask in public (regardless of the reason) a halloween mask, a ski mask, or a face covering burka is a way to hide their identity, and not (ironically) to show their freedom of choice to wear what they see fit. In a similar way free speech isn't always free (eg. can not yell fire in a crowded theater when there is none).

  • Western culture is free society. it's until when people immigrate to the western cultures to force their beliefs upon the country they moved to; when it gets absurd.

  • Hey guys,

I'm the french guy living in Seattle that made some of the earlier comments...

I recently learn that the licensing office of motor vehicle doesn't accept ID picture taken with headgear as valid... Great right? except that at the bottom of the page you can read that exception will be made for health or religious reasons...

This is not joke check it for yourself in the driving instruction manual.

  • Bull Fucking Shit. The Burqa is a disguise in some instances and should be removed when neccessary. Wake up, sadly Islam is not a religion of peace.

  • what is the native language of the person who did your closed captioning??????????????@@?!!???wtf!!?!!!?

  • I am french, I am a socialist, I believe in universal health care.

I am so liberal it would make a republican puke.

    But...

I'm picky with my liberalism, social benefits should be earn through tax paying.

We need to come back to reality and face it, politically correct bleeding heart are paving the way for muslims in Europe and America.

  • heatbucspies55 and cenk probably both share a house in lalaland, where fairies polenize flowers, where everybody is nice to each other, and where islam is a religion of peace.

The french government doen't protect those women at home and neither can assign a policeman to the protection of every muslim woman.

People that think that living in France garantee you to be able to wear whatever you choose is a hopefull dreamer.

Women are forced, women are mutilated, women are raped.

  • Cenk is talking out of both sides of his lying Turk ass on this one!

  • BULLSHIT CENK! Banks should have the right to refuse entry to anybody in disguise! Motor Vehicles can and should deny a license to any woman refusing to show her face!

The police have a right to see people's faces! If those CUNTS can't remove their disguise then they are indeed free to move to an Islamic country!

  • But if a woman enters a Muslim country she HAS to cover up and no one says a word. But if they enter our countries and we tell them to follow OUR laws, everyone freaks out. Hmmmm..... Isn't their a problem here? I am personally creeped out when I see female ninjas walking around. I'm American and I think we should also implement this law.

  • IF A WOMAN IN FRANCE IS WEARING A BURGAS ITS NOT BECAUSE SHES NOT OPPRESSED. SHE WANTS TO WEAR IT--ASK HER IF SHE OPPRESSED

  • cenk, nearly all public schools are workplaces in france ban items of religion, including crosses. this is your liberal version fox news moment!

  • @extrapressure

I bet if you asked him, he would be against that too.

  • Cenk, why do you call your show "The Young Turks"? You seem to me no different from a normal atheistic person here in the US.. Not sure if you have any Turkish roots but you clearly display no actual knowledge of the middle east..

  • I want to be in the business of regulating religion. Religion has been in the business of regulation the government and us for hundreds of years, why not turn the tides?

What's to be scared of? The Abrahamic "God" no-ones heard from in two thousand years? PUH-lease, I'm SO scared. Go France.

  • Cenk is basically right, but I a) hate the way he always defends muslims, even though they are clearly the most damaging religion on the planet and in the west at this moment and b) I think you shouldnt be allowed to wear it everywhere, because you cant be identified with that thing. its basically a security issue. go into a bank ect. and youve got to show your face, I dont care what religion you believe in

  • I don't always agree with Cenk, but he could not have said it better on this issue.

  • I'm French and i'd just watched this vidéo. i think you see it this way from the US , but here in France it does exist an attempt by the religious extremists, (muslims and others..), to infiltrate civil society which is the more secular in the world. For exemple in théorie the président isn't allowed to talk about god, we dont have "in god we trust" on the paper currency. and more it's a security problem no one can walk the street without the possibility to be identified .

  • Wearing a burka is like wearing a klu klux Clan or a Nazi outfit. I say go ahead and wear what ever you want, but if you get your ass kicked its your own fault.

  • last thing, this law doesn't violate human rights,

Restraining a person's liberty to wear a blue jean under threat of verbal or physical abuse does

One's liberties stops when it infringes on one others liberties.

  • Oh and by the way the muslim population in France is not only 5 millions, but almost 30 millions which bring it to almost 1/2 the total population, and keeps creeping up.

The type of muslims imposing this outfit on the women of their families are a dangerous proselyte vindicative sort, they will never integrate, don't want to either cause they're on a mission, to convert and subjugate.

Maybe you should spent some time in France before judging on french politics.

    Thanks.

  • I'm a french person living in Seattle, I just watch your video...

The law is not anti burka, it is anti covering your face in public spaces, it not only applies to burka but bikers, jews, atheist, christians, bank robbers, etc...

But let's admit it did... just because it was your point... and let's admit too that it was allowed for a jew to wear his traditional jew gears and not for muslims,...

When was the last time you heard of Jews running around bombing themselves?

  • I agree, I am Muslim and Even I think the old ways are Just silly in this day and age. I mean Really covering women from head to toe. That was done to keep them safe from invaders as not to tempt them with flesh peeking out. Uhm I don't see any Roman, or Huns, or Mongols rampaging about now a days. Islam needs a Reboot, Muslim need leadership that represents THEM not their leaders ultra-conservative fears.

  • I'm an atheist. I strongly oppose religious oppression and, in my opinion, I would be a practicing animist before I would be a christian or any other religion, but more strongly I am against human right's violation. That is what this is. If she wants to wear a burqua, than let her. If a police officer wants to verify her identity, then yeah, she should take it off, but only for that reason. Any other reason, is discriminatory.

  • And yet we make female circumcision illegal, as well as persecuting christian scientists by not interfering with their children's sickness with medicine. Our need to regulate religious beliefs is essential because some threaten western society. This was understood by other religious faiths. Minority faiths are welcome, yet when their beliefs conflict with the law of the land, the law of the land prevails every time. In the case of the Burka issue, we see a threat to our ability to pursue justice

  • "Sous Le Ciel De Paris!"

Easy position for the Turks - So I'll take France's position. Sometimes the preservation of one's culture demands reforms that offends outside cultures. Sure, Americans embrace cultures that promotes mutilation of young girls, raping of women and family honor killings. But France is a small country with a culture worth preserving. So let the USA go Burka, I am sure Alabama would love having Burka-clad girls cheering tor the Tide.

  • It isn't regulating religion. It's regulating the rights of women.

  • @every116

What rights are being violated? Noones forcing them to wear the Burka. If they don't like it, they can take it off any time they want.

  • @heatbucspies55 What if they're forced by their mosque/family? (which does happen, don't deny that)

  • @every116 So you're solution to that is to make them choose between being shunned by their families and their religion, or breaking the law?? You think it's a good thing to force them to make that choice? Yeah, great logic there.

  • @heatbucspies55 Uhh...yeah. You have to break Islamic societal pressures in order to break the occupation. When they get their foot in the door and establish a base population where they can sustain themselves (and most importantly isolate their offspring from European culture) it will be difficult to remove it. They'll fight it, but the Europeans have to be tough and resilient, for they have the advantage now, and they can't waste it.

  • @every116

Okay, so you are saying if they aren't going to break out of their cultures, you're going ot make a law that forces them to? I think you should let people choose how they live their lives, but I guess that's just me.

You're comment has the tone that Europeans have to cleanse their culture of the islam ways. I also believe that trying to stop a culture is wrong, but again, that's just me.

  • @heatbucspies55 Well, if you are familiar with Islamic culture you will know that it is wrong and oncompatible with western civilization. It is racist, violent, intolerant, homophobic, mysogynistic, and controlling. Tell me, what is it you like about Islamic culture? The forced mutilation of female genetalia? The routine beheadings of gays and people who commit the crime of LEAVING ISLAM? The subjugation of women as property to men, be they husbands or family? The absolute end of free speach?

  • @every116

I'm really not seeing how banning Burqas is gonna fix all that.

  • @heatbucspies55 No, it's not going to fix all the broken aspects of their culture. But it's a step in the right direction. It's France saying that they will not tolerate their backwards culture anymore. Its a statement that if you want to live in France you'll adapt to the French culture or suffer the consequences, not the other way around.

  • @every116

    Quote

"if you want to live in France you'll adapt to the French culture or suffer the consequences,"

Okay, if that's what you believe, it is what it is.

But you can't say a word about how France is so liberal and progressive, and the U.S. is full of bigots, because you just proved you are a bigot.

But I guess that's fair enough.

  • @heatbucspies55 No, that doesn't make me a bigot, it means that I will oppose the aggressive, isolationist culture.

I've already explained why the Islamic culture is wrong and incompatible with Western civilization. That's on top of the fact that it's hard to maintain a nation with multiple ethnicities and cultures residing within it's borders. Immigrants either assimilate as they do in the US up until recently or they create their own society within a society as is happening in Europe.

  • @every116 You just said that these people should live their lives in the way you think they should, or else suffer the consequences. That's the definition of being a bigot dumbass.

I'm not a huge fan of Islamic culture, and if they are going around attacking homosexuals, or murdering women or beating them for being disobedient, all of that stuff is already against the law.

Stuff like wearing a Burqa, though, isn't ruining the western culture.

  • @heatbucspies55 Uhh, no, it doesn't make me a bigot to expect immigrants to France to at least make an attempt to learn and adapt to French culture. They are making none, and are in fact dividing their own population from the rest of France by maintaining self-governing, 100% Islamic areas.

Yes, all that stuff is against the law. But they do it anyway and get away with it because the law enforcement is either afraid to spark violence or buys into the crap about respecting their twisted beliefs.

  • @heatbucspies55 - Fuck their families and their religion, they chose to live in the West! Women's rights and equality in the West should be a line in the sand that Islam isn't allowed to cross at all costs! Asking somebody to show their face in public is not bigotry! The Niqab is a political statement and a willful refusal to assimilate!

    CENK!!

YOU ARE A TOTAL SHIT HEAD!

    TOTAL!

  • @StompingRabbits

Why do you have to control how they live. If they want to live like that, it's no skin off your back.

And the law isn't helping these women or giving them any more rights. It's not going to stop men from oppressing them.

  • @StompingRabbits

Why do you have to control how they live? It's not hurting you.

And don't act like the law is going to stop oppression. If you think these crazy guys from their families are going to let them go out and show their faces just because of a law that punishes the women for it, you're sadly mistaken.

  • @heatbucspies55 - Yes indeed it does hurt the society that I am a member of when these Muslim women go out in public in disguise dressed like giant pepper pots! Asking someone to show their face in public is not oppression! Then we'll have the crazy guys arrested one by one if they beat their women folk for not covering! Where women's rights are concerned, that should be a line in the sand that Islam isn't allowed to cross at any cost! No compromises for Sharia, none whatsoever, get it?

  • @heatbucspies55 - They may do as they please in their lands, in the West they have to observe our rules! They are free to go back to their respective North African and Asian hell holes should they decide not too! The burqa is a political statement! It is a statement of segregation and a willful refusal to assimilate! Back to the sand with the silly cunts if they can't assimilate!

  • Like he said, France doesn't have our constitution, but if this ever happened in the US I'd be mad as hell.

I'm not Muslim, but I still would fight hard for their right to practice their religion.

  • @heatbucspies55 you're probably not a woman, or a husband, or a father or a brother. And you probably doesn't know any of the type of muslim imposing burka wearing.

  • @FoggyDew98

I do know if you're a woman in france, nothing is forcing you to wear the Burka.

  • or balaclava on security would be all over me so it should be the same for anyone of any religion covering their faces. if a woman was to move to a muslim country they would be encouraged to respect the countries beliefs by not showing to much skin and dress appropriately so when a muslim moves to another country they should respect that countries beliefs. after 9/11 and the bombings in england and bali along with many others i believe that security is more important than ever

  • we have had this debate here in australia and i dont see a problem with it as long as it is for security reasons, i have heard stories about women refusing to show their faces to police when they get pulled over for speeding, how is a cop meant to know who the person is that they have just pulled over, then when the cop charges her for not revealing her identity all these muslim groups come out claiming racism, its ridiculous. if i walk into a bank with a motorcycle helmet

  • Oh my Muslims Sisters in France! Use "Surgical Mask" instead of veil (Hijab) if you are forced to not to use veil; and thus punch on SARKOZI's Evil Face.

Hey Sarkozy! You share your woman to others, but we Muslims don't. Understand?

  • TYT is so stupid, they have no mercy. gosh do they ever, ever speak about the arguments for the ban? i mean what kind of kindergarten discussion is that..."hey lets just talk what we think"

i cant believe i once subscribed to this channel

  • France can hire moral-police straight from Theheran. They are used to police women on how to dress.

  • They should ban wearing any apparel that is covering the face as a part of anti-terrorism program or simply for security reasons, but not specifically the burkas. This way they would still ban burkas and all other similar apparel while not discriminating any religious group.

  • @iamlivinginabox Actually, that is exactly what they did. Still, it doesn't change the fact that this was a populistic move aimed at muslims. Ok, this promotes Equality - everyone has to dress the same, but what happened with Liberty and Brotherhood?

  • @AngeCord If that's really about security, then everything is fine-and-dandy! :)

  • to hell with the french!

  • The French should be able to protect their culture against Islamification. Good on em for having the balls to stand up against it.

Stop preaching to us about how OUR societies are meant to work and fuck off back to Israel Jew

  • Ah, 20,000th viewer.

  • There is an element of security here. How do you know it is even a woman; how do you know it is not a man hiding from the police. Also, are you aware that French schools have banned head scarfs for girls?

I do see the security aspect, but I'm also for the rights of religious people to wear what they want. However, if I ran a shop, I would want to see the face of the person entering my shop. I'm OK with a law like that, a person has to reveal their face when the enter a shop, then recover.

  • For those who want to wear the burka, simple go to countries where it can be worn and appreciated, it is that simple. And in addition, I do not believe that Islam is the devil, because you get evil people within all denominations.

  • Look I am not a fan of France and most of their policies; however lets’ put things in perspective and not be naive about the issue at hand. It is evident that each religion has their religious attire, but I am not aware of any religions, beside some muslin that cover their entire face. Someone wearing a huge beard, a head scarf, a huge hat, a huge cross, or a Yarmulke make it totally different from someone covering their entire face. I agree with France to ban the burka but not the head scaf.

  • The French law on secularity and conspicuous religious symbols in schools bans wearing conspicuous religious symbols in French public primary and secondary schools (all religious symbols not just the islamic ones)

  • Guys, burqas are more cultural that islamic.... Islam just says we should cover our heads and that is it

    anyways, love the vid :)

  • If you wanna wear a burka there is a certain part of the world for that, but in the West you need a face. plain and simple.

  • What is Cenk saying at 2:08?

That the French don't have freedom of speech? That's nonsense!

The French are the ones who "invented" the human rights. And they have one of the strictest secularisms in the world. Go look up laicism if you don't believe me. And they didn't ban burqas for religious reasons, but because of womens rights. Because many women wearing burqas (at least in in Europe) are forced to do so by their husbands!

  • well surprise surpise...Cenk gets it wrong AGAIN.

  • God gave people faces.

  • @davediddlydoo no, evolution and natural selection gave us faces.

  • @MrGish1 Fine, either way they were meant to be seen! I think we can agree on that?

  • @davediddlydoo Sure if you want. But they shouldnt be enforced right?

  • @MrGish1 what shouldn't be enforced?

  • @davediddlydoo It should not be law to not cover your face

  • @MrGish1 Well I personally think that burkhas should be banned for reasons of security. Furthermore, we have been given (or evolved) facial muscles to communicate with (most of communication being non-verbal). To cover them up is absurd and non-sensical. It's just one of those dumb 7th century wonders to come out of Islam. It should go back there. Just my opinion! :)

  • When i was visiting the UK i walked into a convenience store still wearing my motorcycle helmet and the owner freaked the fuck out!! He said he thought i was going to rob the store, so i apologized, took off my helmet and went to grab a soda. Not 30 seconds goes by and a Muslim woman walks in covered from head to toe and she isn't even given a fucking second glace. How the fuck do you know that person isn't going to rob your ass? Of course the Burqa should be banned, fuck this double standard!..

  • @SmokeyCough ... might have been that she had a reason for wearing something that conseals her face? and that she wasn't a prusumably well-built, male biker? to be perfectly honest if I saw someone of that description wearing a burqa I'd be pretty suspicious. That and we don't really have many bikers here in Britain, we have to fall back on steryotype a bit. And I have to point out stuff like that doesn't happen as much as in America.

  • If you don't like it stay the fuck in your own country, I'm getting sick of this BS in Canada, if you don't want to learn english and abide by the same laws as everyone don't come here, we are a melting pot not a new place for you to practice your stupid beliefs.

  • @MrROTD Amen, bro. These Islamic hordes are pushing their agenda all over the place. It's like a strange form of colonization.

  • in the western world, you have to show your face. That's a law. People that hide their face in public get arrested for suspicious behavior. So you either show your face or stay at home and rot. And if you don't like that, OUTSTANDING! that way you'll never set foot on our soil

  • the reply button is now removed good job youtube u dumb fucks

  • Burqa aren't free, so shut up, Cenk.

  • The only thing is you can't see there face.

  • LOL A liberal saying "I don't want to make the choice for them". When muslims do stupids things, it's ok, but when it are conservatives, then they are idiots. How hypocrite.

  • it actually makes sense to ban them not for political reasons but because the burka covers your entire face what if you commit a crime with it on

  • Yes but the burkha is also a MASK. What if this chick goes and robs a bank?

  • @TheLoyalOfficer I'm just curious have you ever seen a woman with a burkha go rob a bank?

  • @gamzeanil Not yet... But I'm sure some enterprising robber will do so soon. In fact I HOPE so, just to show how ridiculous that whole get-up is. Already they have burkha wearing terrorists blowing themselves up around the world.

I just hope no one gets shot in the process of discovering how stupid the burkha is.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheLoyalOfficer WAIT! Is that all that's needed to sucsessfully rob a bank and get off scot-free? something that conseals you face? CALIENTE DAMNITO! I'm getting a balaclava tonight!

  • @Therea It certainly helps. I'm sure we'll get some burkha bank robbers soon enough, especially in some faggotized country in europe that doesn't have to balls to stand up to these invaders.

Or just wait for the first european sharia enclave. Either way - LAME.

  • @TheLoyalOfficer Then she gets stoned to death. ;)

  • @TheLoyalOfficer It's not always a chick under that burka.

  • @TheLoyalOfficer what if she goes trick or treating

  • @TheLoyalOfficer

If the chick goes and robs a bank she wont give a fuck about burka's being illegal. What's wearing a burka when one is robbing a bank?

  • @MrImmoli Ok, but, according to these WEAK laws, she will be able to wear it in the first place and then JACK UP THE BANK at gunpoint. Eventually, it is going to happen. What will you do then???

  • @TheLoyalOfficer

Realize that she would have robbed it whether the burka was legal or not.

  • @TheLoyalOfficer Then why not buy a mask? :/

  • Good for France!

  • Typical ignorant American who don't know shit about French history, laws and politic but still comment on it.

It's also quite ironic how he talks about culture tolerance and then he asserts what "France SHOULD do", and why are they "wrong" thus totally dismissing French culture, fucking hypocrit.

Btw there's no secularism in France retard, there's laicité, and laicité doesn't equal to secularism. And no religious group has any right to wear religious symbols in school, not just muslim.

  • @DeignK referring to the french government isn't referring to french culture. we all know this is taking place in the context of the UMP, and we know its racist roots, ok? there are plenty of FRENCH non-governmental associations who condemn this law, including the local human rights watch.

  • @mangajo Not really.

This is because French is laic, not secular.

Secularism means protecting all religions and preventing it to interfer too much with politics.

Laicité includes another clause : protecting people from religion. Because religion can be oppressive, because religion is divisive (see religious wars/history of religion in France). This is why French leaders have always moderated and censored various religious parties since the revolution.

  • This is so fuckin dumb-and Cenk is just as dumb! The ban on the burqua is only for one thing. We want to see your damn face! There its that simple! Its for security purposes! These fuckin women look like bank robbers!

  • @TheStaticage01 It's their religious right.

  • @RayKalmNiam Let me reitterate please-it is for security purpose-and which population of the world has caused the west to be on such a level of apprehension? The muslim population. I understand Cenks arguements-yet all the other groups he gives as examples about strange attire are also about people whom, however oddly dressed;still show their face. I live in the U.S. Over here I can not go into a store on halloween wearing a mask-Im stopped at the door for it and asked to take it offWHY?security

  • @TheStaticage01 Halloween is only during a certain religious day, Muslims women who choose do wear burqas can choose to do so all the time.

Once again, you haven't retaliated my point. It's their religious rights.

  • @RayKalmNiam First off I was not "retaliating" against your point-I was reitterrating my own point.I would not "retailiate" against you to avoid sounding ignorant or arrogant-lets face it, you are the one who is doing a good enough job in this manner-why spoil it now? And since you are so wise-please direct me to the verse in the all nonfailing quran where it states that women are to be covered head to toe in a burqua-You have 24 hrs to find it and respond-p.s.you won't find it.ITS NOT IN THERE

  • @TheStaticage01 There isn't any. There's one that says to dress modestly. Anyways, I didn't say that Muslims should wear burqas, I said it's their religious right to do so.

  • Comment removed

  • @eliasnyc1 The burkha is meant to put women in prison. Looking at a woman's face does not dehumanize her!

What 7th century backwater do you hail from?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @eliasnyc1 So... All of this supposed "shallowness" by men is to be solved by the 7th century burkha?

    Wow, that's ridiculous.

  • They did almost no research, the motives for the burqa is to go against sexism. The headscarf is allowed in public, but not schools, other religious clothing isn't allowed there neither.

In short, French law is equal to all religions except about the burqa and naqba, which are extremely rare in France and is officially seen as sexist.

  • Burqa is a sign of submersive opression, Fuck Religon, When you wear the Burqa you are a walking billboard saying I will not merge with your society

  • i cant wear what i want to at work, but muslims can and also indians are allowed to wear turban but christians are not allowed to wear what they want.

  • Burka is not hygienic. It should be banned. You are wrong.

  • This guy needs to do some research. The french ban covers ALL religeous clothing. This guy has a seriously american perspective based upon the asumption of a state sanctioned reliegon.

In france secularism is the basis of the entire legal and politcal system, they deplore all reliegon at state and social level.

  • go look at what americans wear when they go to the beach, they have no shame, thats pretty funny.

  • they don't let people walk around naked

  • I could not wear a full burqa into a bank, i can't wear a bike helmet in the bank, why should muslims get different rights? it's not so much they can't wear it at all but in certain situations you cannot wear a full face cover, irregardless of your religon, muslims do not get a special exception.

  • @shandcunt Thank You!---I just told other people that its not allowable to wear a halloween mask in a business on halloween-yet people still wanna argue about "religion" and that muslims have rights-heres the thing that pisses me off most-the tsa in the states aren't allowed to pat down muslim women-yet our females including 70yr grandmas and little 3yr olds have to be. But muslims are someohow fuckin "special"-shit they are the whole reason all this nonsence got started to begin with!

  • No one wants their fat ugly hairy wives, so why they gotta wrap them up because seriously no one is looking at them.

  • this guy needs take his wife not covered up to a islamic country then make his point

  • wtf france doesnt hv the 1st amendment?????France have the seperation of and state-more than the US indeed!!!

  • COME ON BRITAIN, MAN UP AND DO THE SAME! TAKE YOUR COUNTRY BACK!

  • Okay, here's a question: should people be allowed to wear Klan robes in public?

  • no you're not

    you're lebanese

    lebanese =/= iranian

    bye

  • @PersoAryanism You BOTH marry your cousins so you BOTH fail.

  • I'm pretty sure for instance wanted criminals would love to wear those ridiculous outfits! And just cry out about "racism" or "discrimination of their religion" if the police wants to check who they really are.. : )

  • All countries should follow this example, just a plain hijab can do the job, but burqua is absolutely ridiculous.

  • @shnozwoman Your ridicioulous. So what if Women want to wear the Burka? Women have been wearing it for thousands of years. It's their choice. Just because the perverts can't see their beauty they have to make up shit and stir hatred and say bad abt the Burka!

  • @easynowww Actually women have beein wearing it for 1500 years. Not 'thousands'.

Also, fuck the Burka. It's not part of French culture. In European society we prefer seeing each others faces, it makes people more open with each other.

  • @grobo11 ...1500 hundread years still older than your country.

  • @TherealMrChristophel My country has been around for 1600 years. LOL! You're stupid.

  • @grobo11 ...uhh no. in 400AD your country was still under command of the Romans.

  • @grobo11 seriously, dude learn your history.

  • @grobo11 in fact i'd have to say England has only really existed since 1066, when the Normans from France invaded. before then it was a mess of various kingdoms, the welsh in wales and cornwall, the Saxons in the South, Mercia in the middle, northumbria in the north and south of scotland, the picts in the east of scotland and the scots in the west of scotland and ireland.

  • @grobo11 oh yeah and i forgot about the vikings in Shetland, Orkney and the Hebrides

  • @TherealMrChristophel After that, (still in the 400AD period) the Britons (Celts) were driven into the West mountains (Wales) and into Cornwall. The Anglo Saxon kingdoms were soon formed such as Mercia, Northumbria, Wessex, Kent and East Anglia. East Anglia (Anglia being an abbreviated term for Angleland (HENCE ENGLAND) is seen as the starting place for the Kingdom of England. And soon all other Kingdoms merged and became a part of it. Learn your history, don't go on wiki you pathetic joke.

  • @grobo11 ...you didn't happen to read horrible histories when you were a kid? at any rate you're right but you're saying all that happened automatically, which we both know is rubbish, the saxons did not gain control of all of modern day england until the 920's, putting england at 1100 years. but england could have existed since the dawn of time and it still wouldn't mean that people could be forced not to wear the burqa.

  • @grobo11 also for someone who takes such pride in knowing the bible you're not being a very good christian.

  • @grobo11 sometimes you just can't facepalm hard enough...

  • @TherealMrChristophel Are you stupid? The Medieval period of Europe started in 1066 with the Norman invasion of the KINGDOM OF ENGLAND. England had already established itself as kingdom prior to that you fool.

In 400AD the Romans were leaving and the Angles, Saxons and Jutes settled in new parts of Britanny because the Celts couldn't afford to pay the Germanic tribes the money that they promised for defending them from the Viking marauders. Soon after the Anglo-Saxon ethnic group came about.

  • @TherealMrChristophel I facepalmed so hard I broke 3 bones in my hand once... It's my belief that you CAN facepalm hard enough.

  • @WirlWind494 1000 facepalms equals 1 facedesk.
