@RoundDaFur Wow, for someone who takes an interest in Chomsky and left issues you're pretty fucking immature. I've married parents who I see all the time. What's all this bullshit about my estranged father?
Noam is a phenomenal speaker. You're stereo mic setup is out of phase. Dump the right channel and use just the left. His voice is fine in the left channel. When you mono the sound it cancels out.
Americans no longer believe that the well to do and the rich have any obligations to do anything for the poor.
We have reverted to the Middle Ages when those with thought that they had no obligation to anyone but themselves and their families. The church was seen as the only vehicle to give beggars a bit of bread and had to beg the rich for that. Then the church became rich and kept most of it for the bishops, popes and priests. Crush religion and the state and we are on the freedom road.
@leland61 This is certainly true that the rich don't believe they have any obligations to the poor. But really, do they? Either the poor determine their own destiny or we die. There can be no relying on the rich to undo the destruction called 'our lives' that they have created.
Praise from Hugo Chavez is not exactly something to be proud of.
