As far as Death Note is concerned, i would have to say that the scene w/ matt's death was way more epic than the birth of Kira. and as far code Geass, that the ending is just is beyond epic. i saw it 2 wks ago and i'm still stunned.

No. No. In my opinion, both are overhyped series, but at least Death Note dodges most shounen cliches and is above average until the second half. Code Geass was bad, and got even worse in the end. Code Geass throws out random plot twists every 10 seconds which become redundant and stupid. And at least Death Note maintains a coherent, consistent plot, unlike Code Geass, where it's riddled with plot holes.
