i never liked the gun it fired WAY to slow.. O-o i like to machin things down or just blow them up.. xD (or use my riot shotgun and mow threw things.. xD my only thing is i dono how to care just enough so i dont die (tryed 3 things and shot load or ammo and in the end by a farm zombies over took me easily.. O_<

good video, but i would like to note that you do not actually need 75 lockpicking to get the gun, if you have 25 lockpicking you can lockpick a door to get to the third floor and then loot the suitcase there for the third floor access card, then use it to open up the door you picked on the second floor, or go back down to the first floor and open the very hard locked door

you don't need lockpick of 75, you can actually go to the top floor, go to the dead brotherhood palidans and near them there should be a briefcase under a skeleton that has 200 pre-war money and a key to both the very hard and hard door

Another way to pick up the gun if it is stuck is to bring a companion who uses guns (Boone, Cass, ect.) stand them next to it and initiate combat with one of the robots and they might try to pick it up and use it even if they don't have any ammunition for it... Oh and obviously try not to kill all the robots before that ha ha.

if the gun has fallen go to 3rd person mode by pressing L2 on the ps3 controller or on the xbox controller LB then simply move your crosshairs on to the Q-35 matter modulater and if you cant get it im sorry

If the gun has fallen, and you cannot get it, what you need to do is go to 3rd person and put your back against the wall by the container it is in.  Fiddle around and you will eventually be able to pick it up! Everyone like this so people can see how to get it

A trick that im sure others know.. Click the right stick down when your crosshairs are on something like and item or a small obstacle like a crate... after clicking the right stick 'move' the item by turning the camera in any direction.. this might help. This does not work on ALL small items or obstacles but has helped with revealing mines under dead bodies and or moving dead bodies from atop each other.. yes this works for dead bodies too. yes this works on both PS3 and 360. as far as i know.

FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS THE BUGGED GUN AND CANT PICK IT UP. Switch to 3rd-person, stand next to it, and point straight down. slowly rotate until it allows you to pick it up. If it doesn't work, throw a grenade at it, and try again.

If I'm not mistaken you can get this item without picking any locks. Just go to the third floor (if you get spotted by the robots, you'll have to kill them). There should be a door that leads you to the room on the 2nd floor (don't know if you had to pick any lock for it, but at the time I only had around 30 in lockpick so it must have been an easy one).

Theres a better kind of plasma rifle that has a 60 sized clip and shoots a spray of plasma bolts rather than just 1 shot. You can also find Remnant Enclave armor but it requires fighting off a horde of deathclaws, so bring a ton of stimpacks.
