Everything the book talks about is a procces in your mind. Maybe you should start with eckhart tolle or adyashanti, krishnamurti and work your way up, it will take a long while before you really understand this intimitaly. ask yourself who am I? Why do I feel angry? Why am I alive? Why can't I simply enjoy peace and happyness? Why do I suffer? etc etc etc
@birdofafeatherami I would suggest "Conversations With God". It's a lot more fun than ACIM. So are the teachings of Abraham, through Esther Hicks, and Bashar, through Daryll Anka. Like ACIM these are all channeled, and deliver the same universal messages. I shouldn't omit Mary's Message to the World or Emmanuel's Book either.
@birdofafeatherami Oh no, I've read many new age books. Only A Course In Miracles was any power for me and the power is Infinite! Don't get too wrapped up about understanding the text. Just do the lessons. Within 2 months you will have beautiful experiences beyond your wildest imagination.
@birdofafeatherami< ACIM is very powerful. I just called the collection agency hounding me for erronious bills and apologized for losing my cool. Can you imagine? I just apologized to a ruthless and blood thirsty collection agent for being upset about their cruelty! lol! What next? Give Hitler a hug?
