Hello i used a jailbreak where i did a lot of stuff in the cmd and i wonder if i should dtay on that one or change to this?

If your JB is stuck on 1/4, do this (Works most of the time) : 1. Right click the absinthe.exe and click troubleshoot compatibility.

2. Click recomanded settings then click open the program

3. After absinthe opens, plug in your iPad 2/iPhone 4s, wait till it detects your iDevice and click jailbreak.

If it stucks on 3/4

4. On your iDevice, go to settings/network then enable VPN ( there should be a JB symbol on the enabeler.)

5. Then follow the video tutorial from 1:29

If lapdog's solution doesnt work for you try this. (Mine works for me at least)

I too had all the errors, the crashes, the long waits but now I found a solution to that. It will work for most people I guess. All you have to do is :

1) backup your iphone via iTunes.

2) restore your iPhone to factory settings.

3) jailbreak using absinthe.exe (I didnt even have to run in on compatibility mode)

4) restore from backup from step 1.

5) Enjoy!

Well what happened with me is i tried it straight away and it got stuck on 1/4, didnt move, so i exited and started again, toldm me to reconnect my iphone, did that, then started the jailbreak again. It got stuck on 1/4 AGAIN. i was like fs. so i just left it for like 30 mins. And it moved to like 1/3ish and i was like finaly!! it got to 2/3 right, then it said "absinthe has stopped working"

I solved my issue with my ipad 2 on windows with a clean restore and set up as new and then reboot my device and re download absinthe worked perfect for me hope this helps :)
