Look for the subtle magic zap you get when you pick up the right one. It's in your favor for you to choose and not for anyone else to make up your mind for you.

I have a Martin and an old Jap Mountain that's a Martin copy.

@johnhguitar very true.i went out to buy a jumbo acoustic a few years ago, i wanted a loud boomy tone for about £500, (i live in london) so i went to sound control who had the biggest collection of guitars in europe, (or so they claimed) and did the yamahas, the takamines the cheap end martins and fenders and epis and hated em all.just as i was about to leave the store a £350 tanglewood caught my eye, dont know why! and open g later and i was walikng to the till.it was an instant connection!

@andr3wbr1an it's a soprano size ukulele. For something in that price range you definitely won't get something as good a martin, nowhere even close. for that price i would get a lanikai soprano or a concert lanikai. Once you get some skill you should definitely get your hands on a martin or a pono - the only two i would recommend.

I am from venezuela, colombia and venezuela share the same typical music ( musica llanera, joropo) and the main instrument is the cuatro, I don`t now how to tune a ukelele but looks like a cuatro, thanks for your comment,,,
