  • can i mix 2 effect? can i use vibe and flanger at the same time?

  • @normalsigara Yes you can. :)

  • I've got a Koch Studiotone stack aswell. I orded the Nova Modulator. Do you have the pedal in the loop or in front of the amp with pedals?

I want to put it on my pedalboard with my distortion and overdrive pedals, so in front of the amp.

In front of the distortion pedals or after? What do you think people?

    Thnx.

  • @mukkezz I normally use it after my drive effects. On my board.

  • @mukkezz OK. Thnx. I got the pedal last week. I've got it set up in my pedalboard after te drives.

  • Can you nail The Police sound with this?

  • I bought a true bypass switch.

  • Are all the pedals 'true bypass'?

  • @joelg125 - Not a 100% sure, but 100% sure that they are calibrated for optimal performance. If that means buffered or true bypass, I dunno..

  • Can I use the Switch3 on the Modulator or the Nova Delay?

  • Does it come with a 12v power supply?

  • Is the NM1 digital or analog?

  • @joelg125 Digital.

  • Will this come with a complete guide and sample settings - a quick reference?

  • @joelg125 - There's a downloadable complete guide/manual on our website.

  • why not starts up with dry guitar

  • @yimmiytube - I'll ask Tore if it might be an idea in future videos, I also think it's nice to hear the dry sound first.

  • When are you guys going to do a nova harmonizer?

  • @Giorg1581 we won't comment on future products.

  • @tcelectronic Actually I wanted to hint you as it would be great if you had a harmonizer pedal. Also it would be cool if there was a way to interconnect some/all of the nova pedals together. i.e. going to a user's lead patch on the nova drive would kick in a pre-selected patch on the nova delay to add some extra duration to the notes. Maybe call it "Nova Controller" and connect it via midi and also provide power. But then it can be done with a third party midi controller but too troublesome.

  • @Giorg1581 we have that thing - it's called Nova System ;-)

  • is there a way to factory reset on this pedal please ?

  • @winceyV1 Press the two "Varation" buttons at the same time. The right "Variation" button will now blink. Press it again and it will reset the pedal (all user presets will be lost). Pressing any other switch or button will cancel the operation.

  • you can definitely see the bulge of his dong at 8:37

  • Hey there! I was just wondering, I know you can have two effects at once, but what if I wanted both effects (both sides) to be the Tri-Chorus but with different settings. Is that possible with this pedal? Just wondering if I can get that HUGE Allan Holdsworth chorus that way.

  • @Botdra Nevermind, spoke too soon! Thanks!

  • I demoed this at a store. This thing sounds great but I wish it had true bypass. It colors the sound of the amp even when it's not engaged. It requires an extra looper pedal to kick it out of the loop when not needed, otherwise it adds a hint of modulation to the amp's sound. I'd buy it right now if TC can offset the cost of the looper pedal ($70).

Beautiful effects, definitely some of the best out there, but kind of a half ass job otherwise...

  • @Machin3God may be it's because of the buffers, my Eventide TimeFactor imparts some color whe bypassed (in no true btpass mode), actually what it does is showing the true tone because is buffering the signal.

  • @javiceres I think my Timefactor is set up in TB mode. I only have one other pedal in the FX Loop so the signal is pretty clean. I understand that lack of True Bypass is somewhat of a manufactured problem and that Buffers are necessary to amplify the signal but with the Modulator it's a pretty obvious alteration of tone. I still might get the Modulator but I would lean more towards the Modfactor.

  • this pedal only needs 'midi in' and it would be 99% perfect.

  • @crguti I agree!

  • @crguti yeah and than there should be an out and more presets then 9

  • can I power this with voodoolab pedal power 2 ?

if its possible I'll buy this right away!

  • you played eruption by van halen! yeah

  • I like this it's all in one, but ...

Must be use in fx loop of the amp .. or can be use it between guitar and amp??

    My amp don't effect loop.

    Nice video, Thanks.

  • Just a question:

Can I somehow switch between the effects with my foot?

  • This thing sounds very very very nice. I had my doubts. I was very wrong about this thing.

  • purple rain!

  • Just bought the pedal and learning how to use it.

Question, can the pedal emulate the chorused/harmonized Eddie Van Halen sound?

  • 9:20 This inspired me to try out leslie sounds on my NM last night. Instead of Phaser & Trem... I had better luck with a subtle flange & a subtle vibrato.

  • is this true bypass?

  • Is there a way to turn down the intensity of the effect? So you can choose how much affected signal is mixed with the dry signal? Thanks!

  • Nice pedal really. Hope you can add a univibe. An expression pedal seem pointless thnks to the store presets, but.. maybe as a plus?

    Cheers!

  • Love the demo but I have two questions:

    1. Are you able to use more than one effect at a time?

2, A pedal called "modulator" without a delay?

  • Hiya,

Absolutely you can use more than one effect at a time. With its Dual Engine design, Nova

Modulator allows you to combine Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo and Vibrato effects, sync the tempo between

them and even trigger the LFO to start right on the beat. Nova Modulator gives you unlimited sound shaping possibilities. And with nine presets, there is plenty of room to store your favorite settings.

We have the Nova Delay for delays :).

    Best wishes,

    Joey @ TC

  • @FloydsterUtube i believe you can you 2 effects at a time. and yes modulation pedals and delay pedals are set apart despite the fact that modulation in guitar terms is just variations of delay.

  • why would they include a delay in the modulator? its a time-based effect...

  • @FloydsterUtube i don't think modulation and delay are synonymous or paired together in that order. it is common to see modulation options on a delay pedal. the word "modulation" itself just means changing the tone, strength or pitch (also frequency). i think tc has done a good job.

  • Hey i love all of your stuff . Why don't you guys make a badass 8 voice modulation delay ?

  • Hiya,

Ah thankyou :). We are constantly coming out with new products and you never know what might be around the corner!

    Best wishes,

    Joey @ TC

  • 8 voice modulation delay Combined with a 8 voice pitch shifter made by TC would be heaven !!!

There's noting like this out there!!!!!

    PLEASE MAKE IT

  • That's a marvelous idea!!!!!!!!!!

  • is someone an EVH fan maybe? Haha great playing man!!

Great sounds as well . I'd just hope they wouldn't pack all the functions in such a tiny pedal .. it's too much 23-functions-per-button :(

Aside from that a phenomemal pedal!

  • nice! great playing too!

  • Great demo!

please do the same with other pedals.

  • Nice job! I need some modulation up front before my Egnater head and was looking at separate pedals like the MXR phaser and a smal stone chorus, etc but I am running out of pedalboard space. The Nova may be my answer. Sounds warmer than expected.

  • i run this pedal in front of my dual rec. with a ts-808 (new handwired one sounds sweet!) and a T-rex roomate , this unit is absolutly fantastic i sold my tc electronic g-system an decided to jus keep with this its that good this video doesnt do it justice what so ever check one out dude their great!
