  • What kind of tool is used at 5:10..

  • Dude u MAKE AWESOME bonsai. I love ur work. Thumbs up for everything!!! :D

  • are you related to Harry? just curious

  • @kupler Yes. My Uncle is Harry Potter. REALLY!

    G.

  • I like it!!

Only one thing... the larger part of the log isn't weathered enough for MY personal tastes. I think weathering would help the tree look older, which unless I miss the point , that's what Bonsai is all about... right?

  • Graham, you are living my dream! what great work!!

  • With that music I was expecting legolas to jump out of the tree at some point. The lord of the bonsai, presented by Andrew Zimmern.

  • I think back track music like you use in your videos would help my trees. lol. Superb stuff. Your videos eat up all my bonsai time. Keep up the fascinating work...love it!!!!

  • Wow...you are an artist...love your work.

  • good job. But the music is not adapted to this stuff

  • @ansiosillo Yes it is!

    G.

  • This is firewood.........ROFL

  • MOG!

  • andrew zimmern?

  • Part 'gardener' - part scultptor. Bravo!

  • Thank you for the video GP. I'll be in touch for bits. ;o]

  • how do u make ur bonsai that meaty ?

  • the music had me on edge, methinks it may have been a tads worth of the wrong choice ;)

  • amazing truly inspirational to watch, thank you

  • Very unatural looking. You'd never find a tree looking like that in the wild. It isn't balanced.

  • @digitalbeachbum Never is a BIG word ;-)

    G.

  • @GrahamWPotter It is very balanced. We are creating idealized trees. None would be found in the wild. Bonsai is a minimalist art. Well done Graham.

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing work, once again!

  • What are the current laws on picking up wood from forest floors now? I thought it was outlawed?

  • @IOWPC - If you own the forest or have the permission of the owner, there is no law against picking up wood, or collecting trees. Much good bonsai material can be found in yards, gardens, abandoned plant/tree nurserys, etc. Overgrown or neglected landscape shrubs & trees can be ideal.

  • you are amazinggg

  • niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • i've watched most of your movies... but that bonsai brought a tear to my eye, thats stunning

  • This is how to "bend" nature!

  • absolutely AMAZING! ...and at the same time depressing. It would take too many years to develop the skill to compose like that LOL

  • amazing.. this is my fave, I think i had an epiphany during the epic musical orchestration at the end :D

  • Great jobb.

  • thats my fave, i wish it was mine! yew trees are my faveorite trees because of their beutiful red bark. gorgeous!

    ありがとう。 from Miami, FL USA

  • after how many days do you loose the wiring?

  • @MrBrakke07 9 months to a year.

    G.

  • @GrahamWPotter Thanks, I love your work. I am trying to make a bonsai but I think it wil be very hard. How many bonsais did you make before you become a bonsaimaster?

  • can anyone spot the spider at 3:51 - 3:56 ?

  • @AmateurShows o yea ha ha

  • Thank you for sharing your vision with us. It was truly a beautiful demonstration of art.

  • you dont need to buy better material if you can do that!

  • awsome job... home im as good as this one day!!

  • U ARE WAT I CALL AN ARTIST !

  • how did you get the stump to root and grow foliage? I cant figure it out. I guess im "stumped".

  • @xxpivdxx Only the red parts of the trunk are alive. The other wood is not doing anything and over many years will rot away.

    G.

  • @xxpivdxx, buh duh chhhhh (drums).

  • What a great work of art. I am glad that you displayed the number of elapsed days to complete your transformation!

  • great bonsai and love the song it really makes the transformation dramatic
