Jesus toasts get enshrined and worshipped and we’ve never seen Mohamed shaped hams for good reason so my question is: Is it sacrilegious to eat a succulent Buda pear? I’m just curious before I set my heart on one of those…. Oh never mind. I will wait for a response first!
@MrAnthonyRizzo Bhudda isn't actually a god in the first place, and I believe it's actually against the guy's teachings to believe so, therefor I doubt it would be heretical or sacrilegious to eat the image of some fat guy.
@Shinhaquro Hey, he wasn’t just some fat guy. He was an enlightened fat guy and I wouldn’t eat a matzo in the shape of Einstein so I think I’ll stay away from the Buddha pears as well. However I have tried Mickey Mouse shaped cheese and they’re pretty good!
So... he plans on selling and eating the Buddha? And why did it take him six years to perfect it? I wonder how long it took for Japan to come up with the square watermelons...
