  • is this actually bale singing?

  • If you wiki "The lonesome death of Hattie Carrol", this was based on a real murder. Though in the wiki article it talks about how dylan skews the facts to further the meaning of the song, but any man who assaults hotel staff, calls them racial slurs, as well as attacking his own wife, deserves no sympathy.

  • oh I wish it was him singing :( anyways two of my favourite things (bale and dylan) coming together, who can complain

  • amazing <3

  • Cause he lipsyncs so well? As explained in the description: the song is sung by Mason Jennings.

  • It was here and then I understood the greatness of Christian Bale

  • The song is "fucked up", as you so eloquently put it? How so? Are you better than Dylan as a songwriter/poet in your own mind? I have to know.

  • @karenclulow1

I think that he was talking about the story, not the songwriting.

  • @karenclulow1 I'm sorry I have to stop you right there cause apparently your an idiot and somehow thought that me saying the song is "fucked up" implied that I meant it was a shitty song..... Did you listen to the lyrics like i said in my comment? Do you know what the song is about? Because that is what I was implying, that the lyrics and the meaning behind them is really fucked up... I said the lyrics are fucked up because of what they are and what they mean and the story they tell. Great Song.

  • @Dimes329

Could you please tell me what this song is about, without the

effs, effed, sh.ts and so forth.

And please don't call me an idiot when you reply.

    Thanks in advance,

    Coco

  • if you listen to those lyrics this song is pretty fucked up.

  • @Dimes329 Society and the people that run it are pretty fucked up too, see a pattern here?

  • @JamaicanLambsWool

yea of course, its kind of funny cause you can see him implying that in this song and it's scary how much it relates to contemporary society...

  • such an iconic image - playing behind the truck for what it seems a handfull of "colored" folks - as they said then

  • Christian Bale can sing quite well though. Check out the Newsies soundtrack.

  • is he singing???
