Wow, I really wish I understood more about the relationship between the audio transformations and the visual representations. As it is, I can't really figure out all that's going on sound-wise! I'm kind of blown away by this! Makes me feel like a complete noob, in a good way. Remember when you were a kid, just learning about sound? Yeah, kind of like that.
Does anybody knows how is this applied to rhythm? Theres an audio sample in wikipedia if you look for Risset, but how does a rhythm appear to go faster when it isnt? I suppose they increment a bars tempo, and it resets by the repeat, and different beats repeat in different synchronization... no?

@shizohal Read the papers, wikipedia and stuff like that. It's complicated but not impossible to understand.
And if you concentrate, you can hear how the tones are not rising eternally, but repeating.
