Our small young dog is very healthy & walks on a leash until he tires, then he rides in his stroller, and he loves it. He also runs daily in his large yard.

Small dogs if over exerted in walking are prone to seizures & heat exhaustion more quickly then larger dogs. Strollers are not just for old dogs! They are also for their protection as large dogs running loose have almost attacked ours,

when they were on the leash.

They are also good in public places that don't allow dogs on a leash & protect them from broken glass on the ground. Our cat also loves the stroller and begs daily to go for a ride in it. It amazes me how many people are ignorant & judgemental. Incidentally, I'm a huge animal rights activist & love animals dearly.
