@verizonsucks1324 It all depends on what you goal is. The general idea is if you are looking the muscle growth stick to 6 - 10 reps. If you are looking for strength then 4- 6 reps. For my sets i do 3- 4 i never go beyond 4 sets. As for pushups try it as a superset with your bench press this can be very difficult and is a good burner on the chest. Do 10 - 20 reps for the pushups and see how that goes.
@jeffersong808 Thanks much appreciated. No that is the worst thing to do keep your back straight. This will avoid you getting injured. Yes you can get your chest bigger without using the barbell bench press. Me personally i do not use the barbell bench press as i don't like how it develops the muscle. However dumbbell bench press needs to be combined with other chest exercise to get the right size and shape. Example of other exercises are: Dumbbell flys and incline dumbbell bench press.
Unfortunetly your wrong on the back comment. You need to pull upir shoulder blades together arch your back tighten your chest and traps. Just search dave tate's six-week bench press cure. He is a power lifting specialist who benches 610lbs.
@GangstaKul Ok i understand now that you have been more specific. Through my exercises and training i've managed to mould my chest to how it is now as i am able to target each part of my chest which alot of people are not able to do. Another factor is due to the structure of the chest which is different for everyone. I'm from England :)
This guy knows a thing or two about form that 99 percent of these fools on youtube don't know. Keep it up dude. Great Advice.

Do you have to stick your chest out & arch your back?
