  • is muay thai just kickboxing?

  • @CobeMan1221 no muay thai is called the art of 8 limbs your alowed to elbow and knee aswell as kick and punch

  • Why didnt he just do that at the begining?

  • Thumbs up for the mute button!

  • what is the average muay thai fight prize?

  • Beautiful, the distance traveled of that elbow was so short I bet it felt like a bullet to the face..

  • Phuck it

  • never seen a KO with an elbow before... Great match

  • i speak thai

its awesome to speak another language

  • Muay Thai is in my opinion one of the most effective martial arts there is, definitely in the top 3 along with bjj.

  • THAI PRIDE

  • awesome 3rd round

  • LOL Thought it was FUCKIT

  • whats with that music? is there a barmitzvah going on at the same time or something?

  • This should be called spinning elbow fail.

  • whoever is playing that god aweful music should be thrown in between the fighters...

  • The cameraman must be very tall.

  • One of the most amazing muay thai fights I've ever seen.

  • tiger destruction!!!!

  • I don't understand.....they are not following up with anything... throwing kicks and punches but not combos...why is this?

  • @MrEvitcartta Because Muay Thai Emphisizes On Power barley Combinations

  • knew red gloves would win bluey was useless and unconfident

  • gottta love the music

  • 1:48 epic sweep

  • there is a girl who talks in french ^^ : " Celui qui remporte le match ... " i don't understand very well after

  • that was long!!!!!!

  • phuket

  • the problem with muay thai in thailand is that it doesnt emphasize on using western style boxing like combos. more combos rather than just throwing 1 kick 1 hook every few secs.

Be more aggressive. that's what great about the north america now..using south eastern boxing with a hint of the west.

  • I get the feeling Muay Thai is huge in thailand, kind of like football and baseball are in america. is that true?

  • @tdr124 yes

  • how much does it cost to train in tiger muay thai for about 6 months? like in u.s dollars?

  • who do they pray to?

  • Ahhh phuket

  • is it just me or was every one else waiting for the thai fighters to do a flying knee kick to the head??

  • in thailand they throw two pissed off people in a ring and play the most annoying music till one drops

  • really goOd fight!

  • I see there is confusion here. People are saying outside of thailand, elbows are prohibited usually...??? NEXT DOOR in Cambodia, elbows are completely legal and win many fights. Pradal Serey, (Cambodian kickboxing) has very similar rules to muay thai. However, it is more of an underground martial art, unmarketed and generally unknown. Muay Thai and Muay Thai Boran have the same roots as Pradal Serey. They all came from ancient Khmer battlefield martial arts. At least according to my reading.

  • how is that city's name pronounced?

  • @beastcohea: POO-KET

  • @NakMuayThai :the fing was a good fight... and the last part was good...

  • @beastcohea lol i thought it was like fuk it

  • @beastcohea Fuc it

  • @beastcohea i said f*ck-it

  • I wonder if anybody in the audience is like "Man I love this song!" and is tapping their feet to the beat. haha

  • place your bets! place your bets! lol!

  • looks like the white trunks guy gave up.

  • @stevensartifacts it's called a teep, and yes it is legal

  • You obviously haven't seen enough muay thai, or you've mistaken it for kickboxing?

  • 0:48 is that legal? seems dirty

  • @stevensartifacts like mrmma452 said, and its used to shove your oponent away from you and partially to provoke him too.

  • @stevensartifacts yeah lol its legal its a fight just fun init its only a front kick hardly anything devastating

  • elbows can end careers, there are people with holes in their head running around in thailand.

and there are elbow specialists who hardly get fights because nobody wants to fight them.

  • "I never seen muay thai fighters using their elbows"---ummm then what did you just see?

  • Outside of Thailand the use of elbows is often prohibited. Even in Thailand under full MT rules it's not a bread and butter strike, because it has a very shot range is hard to land. If you wanna see a real elbow slugfest watch the Sakmongkol vs. Jongsanan fight. That's an awesome fight with ALOT of elbows. ;)

  • @Leidenspfad its not really prohibited, its just both fighers have to agree to being able to use them and the fact they cause alot of damage when they land, alot of fighters dont agree to them, great fight tho :)

  • @Leidenspfad There are some pro Muay Thai fighters here in Vegas that I know of who use elbows with precision. It varies from fighter to fighter but it is devastating when it lands clean- either to cut the face or a knock out.

  • @Athrun000 May be you sea K-1. Using of elbows is liagle in M. T.

  • 1:47 haha. classic technique. blue shorts shouldnt b doing that.

  • aw, i wantd to see the wai khru in the beginning. Awesome fight though.

They need a cage to prevent some slips.

  • Sorry, I'll try an add Ngoo's Ram Muay Wai Kru as a separate file next time.

  • nice fight

  • Muay Thai is always interesting.

  • why does the ring seem huge?

  • Standard size. Video is shot from above.

  • The people are really small ;)

  • Because these guys are tiny :P

  • @buttbag93 It's because of the metric system.

  • one of the most "brutal and deadly" martial arts in the world...

  • red corner was a cocky bastard

  • Yeah, but he could back it up. Bragging rights accompany skill and ability. Not sayin' it's right or wrong, just that they do seem to go hand in hand.

  • this is Rambo III

  • I love the music in the background

  • the guy in red too often walks straights to his opponent and then hugs him

  • Clinching is a big part of Muay Thai

  • u havin a laugh with your comment or what??

  • yesterday i was up in savanah, GA. my dads friend trained me for an hr and 30 min on muay thai, kickboxing, and jui-jitsu.

    It was awesome!

  • muay thau is so so hard...

  • but it pays off when you're standing over your downed opponent with the adrenaline running through you and all you feel is the rush of victory haha.

  • why are most all muay thai fighters built like this

  • Ngoo is average Thai fighter size in one of the most competitive weight divisions. Why look like this? Training everyday!!

  • if i wanted to take up some muay thai lessons? would it be a problem if im a little big?

  • Many of our guests start out big but lose weight fast. No worries.

  • nope, people have come into my muay thai classes that are big, it keeps you so fit, its probably a good way to loose weight. you have to start somewhere.

  • Elbow for the win

  • this is a good fight to watch and learn from ,ill be watching this a few more times

  • i was there :D

  • Very good fight ! Boyh very talented fighters with good will power ! once agin veeery good fight ! chok dee! was bangla studium ?

  • Good fight... Ngoo showed a lot of heart and stuck with it until he put his opponent to sleep.
