SDI or company staff, or vice versa. When male or female DI's work in support Bn or weapons field training Bn, in a classroom or field instructor environment they instruct both males and females. They also interact when recruits are sent as messengers or during mess and maintenance week. the rule is they are not put into situations where it involves undressing.

I am a Marine Sergeant.... in my experience with WM's they often pull the "female card" for example, one of my Corporals instructed all the LCpl and below to start cleaning up so we could go home for the day, there was a female LCpl that thought she was above all that. This is where my Cpl lit her ass up.... she went outside crying and wanting people to feel sorry for her. some guys did... females take advantage of that...

Women have taken part in battles over the centuries, but rarely officially. Many certainly fought, suffered and died in WWII.
Some women are more focussed and disciplined than most men and some women have very impressive strength, stamina and mental toughness, 18 dislikers need to deal with this.
I take issue with saying WMs are "prouder" than Male Marines. It is a fallacy. I love the Female Marines I worked with over the years, and I would say they are just as proud. But not prouder.
I do not want to dishonor them, however women are not allowed in infantry nor in combat units !!!
Why, because they cause trouble in a fire fight or in close combat.
Nevertheless, their work is important too, and unfortunately support units get attacked too. But be honest, where do women work? Most of them sit somewhere safe, because a dead male soldier is acceptable, but a female soldiers death will not be tollerated by the public, therefore they are kept away from danger !!!

As of today, a majority of women are kept away from combative situations; however, who do they work alongside? Males. Not every man sees combat.
Now, as for the current conflict in Afghanistan, there is no specific battlefield. IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) allow the enemy to place the "battlefield" wherever and whenever. It cannot be contained.
Look up "Female Engagement Team." Things are changing.

I GUARANTEE YOU the majority of U.S. women, would not want to be conscripted. I have a lot of respect for the women who want serve in combat units, but they're the exception. Until the majority of women in U.S. want to serve in combat units I think the Ban should stay in place.

If anything it should be an option for women to be able to serve in direct infantry. So when a female Marine goes to pick an MOS she can choose fifleman as one instead of being banned that way women who want to be in combat can choose to be in combat then they can and those who do not can choose something else no in combat.

male PFT perfect score requirements. 3 mile run 18 minutes / 20 pull ups/ 100 sit ups in 2 minutes.
female PFT perfect score requirements. 3 mile run 21 minutes / 70 second flexed arm hang / 100 sit ups in 2 minutes. THIS IS THE BIGGEST EO VIOLATION IN THE MARINE CORPS BECAUSE A FEMALE MARINE CAN SCORE A 300 ON THE PFT WHILE A MALE WHO MIGHT RUN FASTER AND CAN ACTUALLY DO PULL UPS DOESN'T RECEIVE AS HIGH A SCORE. THE ENEMY DOESN'T CARE IF YOUR MALE OR FEMALE. THERE SHOULD BE ONE STANDARD

I am a Marine Sergeant.... in my experience with WM's they often pull the "female card" for example, one of my Corporals instructed all the LCpl and below to start cleaning up so we could go home for the day, there was a female LCpl that thought she was above all that. This is where my Cpl lit her ass up.... she went outside crying and wanting people to feel sorry for her. some guys did... females take advantage of that...

Seriously, There are women who can do our job and do it just as well as the men. The thing that bothers me is when the standard is lowered so the average female has a better chance of keeping up. There is a standard for a reason and there isn't any fucking time when you hear that first 'snap' to make sure everyone can keep up or even carry their shit. From my experience as an 0331, most females couldn't do it, so why lower the bar so they could squeeze by in Garrison?

I'm a former Marine. And am a female. I love the corps but got separated do to medical short of my original eas date. I love the corps. N I worked my ass off for Wut I earned. Nothing was given to me. I've had live rounds fly past my head n barely miss me. My most was MP. A feild MP to be exact. Providing security for convoys n units who go out side the wire is what we do. Male of female. A Marine is a Marine. Any of my former NCO's and SNCO's would tell u I was a damn good Marine.

Women have taken part in battles over the centuries, but rarely officially. Many certainly fought, suffered and died in WWII.
Some women are more focussed and disciplined than most men and some women have very impressive strength, stamina and mental toughness, 18 dislikers need to deal with this.

First, Marines are not soldiers; we're warriors. There's a difference.
As of today, a majority of women are kept away from combative situations; however, who do they work alongside? Males. Not every man sees combat.
Now, as for the current conflict in Afghanistan, there is no specific battlefield. IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) allow the enemy to place the "battlefield" wherever and whenever. It cannot be contained.
Look up "Female Engagement Team." Things are changing.

They train not only their body, but their heart, soul, and mind. MCMAP Tie-ins fortify the warrior ethos by ingraining the character-building concepts and Laws of War into the mind of every Marine - because we are warriors. I GUARANTEE YOU the majority of U.S. women, would not want to be conscripted. I have a lot of respect for the women who want serve in combat units, but they're the exception. Until the majority of women in U.S. want to serve in combat units I think the Ban should stay in place.
