@Jackster14621, hammer and feather can NOT be done on earth, unless in some vacuum chamber making it near impossible. You misunderstood the experiment. On earth, the air resistance slows the feather down, making it appear to fall slower as if to say lighter objects fall more slowly, which is untrue.
@TubularTones Its not about it being done on earth or on the moon, the fact remains..you can easily stage the attempt. You attach a weight to the feather, and it will fall the same time as the hammer. Thats just one way to fake it.

I personaly believe we went on the moon, but I think it is ridiculous when people call nuts, delusional, paranoiac, ect, those who believe in the fake landing theory. Most of the people don't know shit about science or the nasa and they claim there is scientific prove, they just repeat what the nasa say. @philbox17 But some of us do know "shit about science" and it's not a case of repeating what NASA says but simply looking at the evidence. None of the hoaxers I've come across on this channel do any real investigation. Some are ignorant, some are conspiracy nuts but none are scientists willing to put a few hours of research in.
Also annoying when modern missions such as LRO image the landing sites, we are told that these scientists too are part of the hoax. It's all very tedious...
@iafastro LRO image are not really clear and were taken by the nasa. Maybe if it is China who find prove people will believe. The nasa themselves claim that the theory is really elaborated, it was not made by a kid but by scientist, even some people who worked for the nasa claim it look fake. Like I said I believe we went on the moon but the image are not really convincing, we can Kubrick did better then reality with his 1968 movie a Space Odyssey.

@symioncion The Apollo program - putting a person on the moon - was the most expensive thing the US government ever did. It cost something like twice as much as the second most expensive thing - the interstate highway system. Manned space travel is hugely expensive - robotic exploration is much cheaper. That's the future.

ALSEP is Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package. You can easily look these things up yourself instead of expressing doubts about the landings and asking others to show you the proof. The only way to truly fake that part would've been to travel so far away that no telescope would've been able to catch it - which would essentially mean they would have to travel into the Van Allen belt - and hide there, or close to it.

All the artiest conception drawings had a landing blast crater if it was fake it would have had one also. NASA started the first pioneering exploration and colonisation of the moon 40 years ago, with a very primitive technolgy and, evidently, without a single major accident or causualty. More people have died on shuttle missions than in moon missions. In spite of that huge success (shown in thousend of videos and pictures, sometime evidently doctored..), NASA killed moon explorations after just few years of success, why? That's totally unclear and unreasonable.

@master82565 The camera was remotely controlled from a console at MCC in Houston, the camera wouldn't have weighed much on the Moon, so it can obviously rotate pretty quickly. Shadows are not consistent on Earth either. The dark sky is due to the lack of atmosphere to scatter the suns light, and the surface is very bright due to the sun. The moutains at descartes are massive, mountains on Earth appear very close too. The horizon looks close because the horizon actually is closer on the moon.

in my humble opinion: you can not fake the waves caused by the astronauts while walking, jumping or falling.. assuming they slowed down the movie then also the waves would be afected right? I remind you that those waves say it all!
The last couple of missions were the most fantastic. Imagine driving a moon buggy for miles and miles, or play golf and almost send the ball into lunar orbit, hihi. Those guys must have had the time of their lives! I mean it, nothing anybody else has experienced could possibly beat that!:)
One criticism at the time was the money should be spent on Earth, not in space. But the worldwide increase in food production is due in large part to the space program, just to name one benefit of it.
I know all you patriotic people want to believe. I understand, you do have a great country. However in 1969 your country was locked into a nuclear arms race. As a result it conceived an ICBM programme that could deliver nuclear warheads anywhere on the planet. An ultraviolet telescope was taken to the lunar surface on Apollo 16 and operated in the shadow of the lunar module. It captured pictures of the earth and of many stars, some of which are dim in visible light but bright in the ultraviolet. These observations were later matched up with observations taken by orbiting ultraviolet telescopes. Furthermore, the positions of those stars with respect to the earth are correct for the time and location of the Apollo 16 photographs.

On earth, the air resistance slows the feather down, making it appear to fall slower as if to say lighter objects fall more slowly, which is untrue.

None of the hoaxers I've come across on this channel do any real investigation. Some are ignorant, some are conspiracy nuts but none are scientists willing to put a few hours of research in.
Also annoying when modern missions such as LRO image the landing sites, we are told that these scientists too are part of the hoax. It's all very tedious...

The nasa themselves claim that the theory is really elaborated, it was not made by a kid but by scientist, even some people who worked for the nasa claim it look fake. @symioncion The Apollo program - putting a person on the moon - was the most expensive thing the US government ever did. It cost something like twice as much as the second most expensive thing - the interstate highway system. Manned space travel is hugely expensive - robotic exploration is much cheaper. That's the future.
(Another hole in the hoaxers theories - if the money wasn't spent, where did it go? It was a huge percentage of 1960s GDP - difficult to hide such a huge wad of cash!)

ALSEP is Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package. You can easily look these things up yourself instead of expressing doubts about the landings and asking others to show you the proof. @philbox17 Thousands of people witnessed the lift-off with their own eyes and watched the rocket head towards the moon and disappear in the sky.
The only way to truly fake that part would've been to travel so far away that no telescope would've been able to catch it - which would essentially mean they would have to travel into the Van Allen belt - and hide there, or close to it.

All the artiest conception drawings had a landing blast crater if it was fake it would have had one also. The hoax people fail to mention that the feather fell as fast as the hammer and the ham radio people were listening to the NASA frequencies with their directional antennas pointed to the moon. Also that flag caught my attention as the wave looked different.

The nasa representative simply insulted them, he call them freaks, ect. Nasa had a good chance to explain and debate the theory but their only argument was insults. They didn't attack the theory itself, they simply discredited those who believe it's fake and they bragged about how they are intellectually superior.

NASA started the first pioneering exploration and colonisation of the moon 40 years ago, with a very primitive technolgy and, evidently, without a single major accident or causualty. More people have died on shuttle missions than in moon missions. In spite of that huge success (shown in thousend of videos and pictures, sometime evidently doctored..), NASA killed moon explorations after just few years of success, why? That's totally unclear and unreasonable.

FEB 4, 2011-Using two high-resolution LROC images taken from two separate orbits, scientists have formed a stereo image pair for 3D measurements at the Apollo 14 landing site. Among the visible objects are the descent stage of the Apollo 14 lunar module Antares, the ALSEP, a rock nicknamed Turtle Rock, & multiple astronaut traverse footpaths clearly indicated by disturbed soils. Anyone who says the US moon landing is fake doesnt have an ounce of logic in them and are easily lulled into retarted conspirasy theories and will believe what some junkie says over educated scientists. STOP BEING IGNORANT PLEASE! Too much HARD evidence exists saying that we DID do it. We have soil samples, Russians acknowlaged that we did it, and we did experiments you cannot do in Earths atmosphere EVEN IF IT WAS STAGED. hey guys i have something that might blow your minds. to generate lift there needs to be 2 forces to act upon each other, I.E. Gravity and Propulsion with magnets its the same way, two positives will generate a repellent field so having said that... how do you fly to the moon and more importantly, back? if space is a vacuum and a vacuum is a negitive force if it exceeds the propellent force then it would absorb the force entirely wouldnt it? they wouldnt even be able to use

@master82565 The camera was remotely controlled from a console at MCC in Houston, the camera wouldn't have weighed much on the Moon, so it can obviously rotate pretty quickly. Shadows are not consistent on Earth either. The dark sky is due to the lack of atmosphere to scatter the suns light, and the surface is very bright due to the sun. The moutains at descartes are massive, mountains on Earth appear very close too. The horizon looks close because the horizon actually is closer on the moon.

The last couple of missions were the most fantastic. Imagine driving a moon buggy for miles and miles, or play golf and almost send the ball into lunar orbit, hihi. Those guys must have had the time of their lives! I mean it, nothing anybody else has experienced could possibly beat that!:)

I know all you patriotic people want to believe. I understand, you do have a great country. However in 1969 your country was locked into a nuclear arms race. As a result it conceived an ICBM programme that could deliver nuclear warheads anywhere on the planet. As to be able to use taxpayers money and not have to suffer any opposition the government told its public it was a programme to go to the moon. The astronauts were the warhead if you can keep them safe you can keep a warhead safe. Wake up!

An ultraviolet telescope was taken to the lunar surface on Apollo 16 and operated in the shadow of the lunar module. It captured pictures of the earth and of many stars, some of which are dim in visible light but bright in the ultraviolet. These observations were later matched up with observations taken by orbiting ultraviolet telescopes. Furthermore, the positions of those stars with respect to the earth are correct for the time and location of the Apollo 16 photographs.
