When my grandfather left Mariehamn it was still part of Sweden. Though American, we consider ourselves of Swedish descent, not Finnish. Beautiful area.

It's spelled Finland, not Findland. And I wouldn't say there are "douzens" of restaurants in the centre of Mariehamn, but that's just my opinion I guess :P There are some restaurants at least.
