I think you are misinterpreting why he said that. Go listen to that part again. Roberts isn't surprised that gun sales are going up because he is opposed to it. He isn't surprised that they are going up because people are rushing to buy them before Obama and the Democrat socialists in Congress try to ban gun sales.
