  • That is cool. The road looks so real and sidwalks are awesome. I will try that on my layout.

  • @Gettyrail Thank you!

  • Nice looking layout ,glad too see I'm not the only one out their modeling Hazzard county and using 1/64 scale vehicles. Here is one idea base your version of the Hazzard county in CA desert instead of GA , Mine is in NM . One other thing you could put the freight depot on the other side of the siding and have the bank where it was on the show what is Boss Hogg without the bank . That is just my cents it is your layout do it any way you what.

  • @InterCountyRailway Thank you for your kind comment. That's cool that you're modeling Hazzard as well. But my Hazzard Model is being modeled after the one in Burbank California. I tried to model the desert as close as possible, but I need to add more shrubs and bushes. Oh and the freight depot has been relocated and the bank is now under way of in search for a building that looks close to it. And you're right what would be Boss without the bank. Are you from New Mexico?

  • @Flowmaster40Series I live in NM that why I moved the Dukes to fictional county Hazzard Range NM . I do have question what company makes the building you are using for the courthouse ?

  • @InterCountyRailway Hey I live in NM too! I have no idea what company makes it, I looked and looked and never found out. Sorry.

  • Joe I came across this by accident, it looks awesome man,,,,great job, looking forward to more.

  • @donsgotmoney Thanks Don, I appreciate it!! And thank you for subscribing!

  • That is some damn fine canyon work. Good luck with the rest of the layout.

  • @88junor Thank you very much!

  • looks great man!

  • @GunMetalJeep45 Thanks Will!

  • Really cool man. What did you use for your desert shrubs? I see you used foam bushes, but what are the other taller shrubs made from?

  • @Tjallen01010 The taller shrubs are made from dried preserved natural moss. Thanks Tim!

  • Looking great Joe, the town has made alot of progress, and the desert scene looks great also, I think instead of painted foam you need some real sandy dirt, But keep up the great work bud!

  • @ohiosouthern Thanks Kodi. Actually all the mountains are covered in sand.

  • Really looking good Joe.

  • @S0UTHERNPENNRR Thanks Joe!

  • Sweet Layout!!!

  • @ATRsk8ter Thanks Dude!

  • It looks like it is coming along very nice.

A little more weathering to the roads would be nice as dude below said, but it looks great so far.But I can't wait to see how it turns out, especially the 'Boars Nest'.

Gotta ask where you get all your big rigs from,I know it is a silly question, but walmart, kmart, the malls, michaels, none of them carry them.I know a guy with a hobby shop that sales Micro rigs, but they are too small, and he charges like $10 for them.

  • @EJthecountryboyGRAY Thanks E.J., yeah the roads need some weathering. Can't wait to work on the Boars Nest. All the rigs are from Hobby Lobby. You can look on eBay but they can be pricey. But there are some good deals sometimes. Is there anything in particular that you are looking for? Thanks again E.J!

  • @Flowmaster40Series No man,I am just a Rig freak like you are a train freak, saying that in a good way,LOL!

I will just wait until Hobby Lobby opens back up down here in december.I knew they had them, but you know, mine blew away in the storm.I am gonna make a model truck stop,a small one.Just some Petes,KW's,and Macks. You know me man,I like a good Rig.

Yeah,I can't wait to see the Boars nest. You got a good spot for it.

  • hey!! really really like the roads but just one thing personally i think the pavement is abit to new looking and needs a tiny bit of weathering. i love the mountains, how did you scenic the the crevice in the mountains? and thats the really good thing about foam basebored you can cut into it to give a more 3d look wish i had it. really good vid man :)

  • @SuperBige62 Thanks Jack, what part of crevice? Like point out a section in the video where you see it. But thanks again man, and yeah I still have to weather the roads.

  • @Flowmaster40Series 4:04 the bit hanging over the gondola. how do you scenic under there?
