@PlatinumTank advice...do not buy masks why?? because it might not fit you or might not look so realistic on you if you want a mask that would be 100% fits.. go for any professional mask maker and ask him/her to ....:)

I've made a few latex whole head masks, and am in the process of casting a mold for a silicone mask. I'm using Dragon Skin with some slacker to make it more flesh-like. Any tips on a release agent?

I have an exactly same question as you! But I have heard that you don't need any release agent for plaster mold. But I'm not sure. If you use silicone mold, vaceline seems useful as a release agent. Hope you can make a nice mask.

I used vaseline as a release and when the silicone cured it just about fell away from the mold walls...later I wanted to cast the same mold in latex, and had to really work with soap and water to get out the vaseline to get the latex to be absorbed into the walls of the mold...

You should put up one of your firsts. I have a laytex kit from monstermakers but I'm way to afraid to use it. I don't want to make anything horribly stupid.
