  • I will hunt deer, I will hunt rabbit, I will hunt Elk, I will hunt duck, raccoon, turkey but i will never under any circumstances unless death will ever in my life kill a bear bear are the most beautiful creatures that walk this planet so please thumbs up if you agree :)

  • @Kriderman1248. The human race is always going to struggle with unemployment, by 202O its estimated 7billion people will inhabit planet earth. Who are you to bitch about a species existence...the card can be played both ways, maybe if there werent so many people on this planet unemployment rates and the natural beuties of this world could be preserved you fucking cum guzzler.

  • I know the native Canadians thought they were ghosts/spirits, but I like to think that they look like old very wise beings...

  • 2:00 awwwwWWWWWW he slipped..so cute i wanna punch a mofoing panda in the facee

  • Great footage. I wonder if "patches" has died yet. Or is he still around the forest? Simon Jackson I wonder if he is still passionate about this bear and are they still logging?

  • Recently in California environmentalists have forced the government to turn off the water pumps that feed the valleys were food is grown all to save a 2 inch fish that only lives in one small spot near the river. Because of that unemployment has gone up to 12% last time i checked. And food prices will sky rocket if they arent turned back on. NOw for the people who say these things should be protected i say, go shove ur head up ur bum. Its tree hugger hippies that ruin things 4 the common man

  • i don't understand humans after all why do you kill any kind of animals? you kill them until you run out and then fuck .. you kill them for some stupid trophies im not saying that you should let them over populate .. the price you get for a bear skin is high but is it that high to take a life?

  • @PASIW in this economy yes, yes it is.

  • @PASIW you talk as if you're not a human. unless you are a REALLY smart bear that learned how to type, get off your high horse and help with the problem captain hindsight....

  • i've seen one outside the area they are referring to.

  • i want one!!!!!!!!!

  • there is one in my town right now, its currently in a cage and its being shipped to and island near somewhere im not sure the details but i love them they are awesome

  • I grew up in Kitimat BC and seen hundreds of blacks and a few grizzlies but i ve never been fortunate enough to see a kermode. The odds of seeing one is like winning the lottery lol

  • @IceBlue179 dude me to! but I saw one the other day lol, pretty rare

  • this is like michael jackson !!!

  • There is a really good book, "Touching Spirit Bear" about this kid who goes to an Alaskan island and sees the Spirit Bear and such. Really good book, fiction.

  • it is

  • Haha, I am reading this book right now (before looking at your comment) and it is a good book. Here is a quick review for you all:

A spoiled boy, Cole Matthews, has commited uncountable crimes at the age of 15. When he finally is found a solution by some people, he

  • Too be continued...

  • evolution is crap magic is crap

  • 2:00 whooops he slipped, haha :)

having seen one in person, i can honestly say they are one of the most magestic creatures ever.

  • I would say a snow leopard is more majestic.

  • Haha that was funny! And yes, they are indeed graceful.

  • man, i like to have that on my wall

  • Kinda cute how VANOC merged a Killer Whale and a Spirit bear and made Miga. But I wish they just had a Spirit bear as a mascot too because well it'd be cute and let people know that we've got them! They're in our province!

  • It's a black bear with white fur. Nothing more nothing less. This is just a variation. Not a different species at all!

  • i luv bears

  • thats one rare pokemon....i mean bear.

  • White boy

  • wrong video srry

  • I love bears!

They're so fascinating, yet mean and protective.

I love living in Canada and seeing so much wildlife and so much city and the same time, It's the best place on earth!

  • dude, i know what you mean! vermont is JUST like that! its soo cool! bears beat every single animal! there are the best!

  • @alexishannahleah ikr i luv ur username!

  • @alexishannahleah

    i agree with you!

bears are amazing animals! I really wished i lived in Canada so that I could see bears all the time! I plan to someday go to Canada, but not yet, because i am to young :(

  • If BC's provincial government continues to allow trophy hunters to hunt grizzly bears, then all of the recessive genes for the white bears will be wiped out!

Get rid of the Liberals in the May election!

Instead of breeding them, why don't we just stop killing them?

  • The Kermodie trait is only found in black bears not girzzlys and hunting them is illegal..becides i can leave my house drive for 5 mins throw a stone and hit at least 5 black bears

  • you live near a dump? lol

  • why would a bear live near a dump?

  • bears live near my dump(mine as in my reserve lands dump). it's impossible now to get rid of them because we feed them from our garbage everyday. i know it's a shame, but that's how it is living in the bush.

  • @elliemaejellybean

Seeing as spirit bears are derivative of BLACK bear your comment about the BC Grizzly hunt makes no sense and adds more evidence to my long standing opinion that eco terrorists are medical morons.

  • @elliemaejellybean They are actually black bears.

  • @elliemaejellybean From what I understand, aren't the "Spirit" Bears a subspecies of *black* bears?

  • @elliemaejellybean

    i agree with you fully!!

breeding them doesnt get ride of the problem. people will still hunt bears!

the only way to keep bears on this planet is to make a law preventing the hunt of bears every year.

  • @elliemaejellybean Open a season to hunt hunters.

  • my last names kermode, wells dont i rock !!! x

  • I love that these bears are only an hour or so away from my home. :) They're magical!

  • They should have a program to breed more of these bears because soon they will become extinct.

  • not likely that they will go extinct, they live in a remote area of BC and hunting them is illegal. Plus you'd have to breed a shitpile of bears to get a bunch of white ones as 1/10 bears turns out white there. Its a recessive gene (like the vid said) so its not likely any sort of evolutionary thing. The numbers they are at now are probably where they should be. Obviously i'm no expert though.

  • Why don't you do it?

  • thats really cool there fascinating bears

  • This bear reviews films?!!!!

  • Kermooooooooooooodeee

  • Erotic, aren't they?

  • Racists they're not happy to see a black bear!

  • These bears are beautiful. The other most amazing bear I have seen is the black grizzly.

  • The spirit bear is my favorite animal, and I hope that they have a strong future in our beautiful BC. They picked the best place on the planet to live

I saw a black cougar near Mackenzie, BC... what a recessive gene mixup!

  • Cool they are amazing arnt they !! I love bears i would love to see one not up close mind you !! lol do they get lots of bears in PG to??

  • Did you ! awsome I live in Kitimat am dyin to see one !!

  • For many years the natives would tell tales of the great white bear that haunts the great bear rainforest of british columbia :)

  • Hi there - would like to know where you shot this video please??? Were you at Ryordan,Gribble Island or Princess Royal Island?

Have you seen the video I posted - Eye to Eye with a Spirit Bear - shot in September at Ryordan??

    Any comments???

  • A beautiful bear, so elusive, yet so striking. The government of British Columbia is planning to make it the national animal apparently. And to find a creature of this beauty after being bored and youtubing my own name!

  • I read a book called "Touching spirit bear" I ABSOLUTLY LOVED IT!! lol it was great

  • What's the name of this doc? I've seen it before and it was one of the best nature docs I've ever seen. They were able to show that the additional nutrients from the atlantic salmon allowed these forests to have more bio density than their tropical cousins. Amazing!

  • so pretty

  • What a beautiful creature.

  • those bears have incredible physical power, but if a human uses intelligence it is some what possible for one to be over powered.

  • I wonder if those bears have trouble to survive...

  • im learning about spirit bears in school now,to many people call/mistake it for albino bears albino bears have a pink nose and paws

  • Thank`s for sharing this!
