What software did you use? How did you manage to get the title at the beginning over your panning image without needing to add a new element? Im just using Windows Movie Maker at the moment and havent ever worked out how to do that on there, am waiting to get something that hopefully has a layering method.
I use CyberLink PowerDirector 8 Ultra. There are newer versions of PowerDirector out now which no doubt are even better. It's a good editing program for not too much money.
Yea i agree wouldnt do any river paddling on my own, no matter how competant i was at kayaking but respect to you for soloing it anyway. Great quality video, looks like a great fun stretch of river. Btw who's the artist and song in your video
Thanks. I've had the argument about kayaking solo so many times with my coach now, I think it's fine as long as you're careful and stay within your ability.

I think thats a statement that is hard to make, I dont think it is something you can pre-emp either but something that will either happen or not if all the right factors are in place (some of which you may not even consciously realise), you should have a read of 'Whitewater Philosophy' by Doug Ammons, some interesting solo stories. :o)

when putting a title on. put it in title on selected clip. All I use is movie maker.

I have read that book, it is excellent. I would never do grade 5 upwards on my own - the consequences of a mistake are too high.
