  • 00:54 is that Hurley (hugo) from LOST? O_o

  • @Lock7N6Load Yes, it is!

  • HUUUUUUUUURLEY!

  • Well, I'm the guy afraid of the dark. Lol.

  • Awesome!

  • I loved it! Although terminal cancer patients dont normally look quite that healthy, lol.

  • @saiyukiaoi Actually I didn't look that crappy, I was a dead man walking were it not for an amazing surgeon, I even reacted the same way - when I got the call, so for me I definitely laugh at a funny - but to most, very inappropriate moment.

  • @proadmin1

Well, that's great :) I'm glad you made it.

  • This is a Woody Allen script directed by Kevin Smith. Awesome... I feel Oscar buzz.

  • I love this film -

    A tour de force !

it is warm and gentle It is.played with great sensitivity and humour - no mawkishness nor sentimental melodrama

  • hahaaa it looks like the LOST gardener guy was just about grow some herbs in the beginning

  • yes yes yes!! amazing!

  • yo llevo casi 13 años con mi psiquiatra, seria bueno que fuera asi alguna vez.

  • the truth shall set you free... thank you!

  • classic scrooge story

  • Watch this today in Class, it's a nice film too.

Now i have to write 100wrds to see what's the point of this video..

Can some one help me understand this short film a bit more??

  • @pazongyang mmm.... doctor stern understand that his time was coming to an end( the cat scan is used to detect cancer)...so, you remember the last man?? Is the same thing over and over geting him and his patients now where. You can say that you have to actually do the change so that things can realy happen, or how the relation of a psicoligist and its patient dose not have to be really that cold and distant, or tha when you get to understand your life is doing to end i when you really start liv

  • oups that was a bit late XD

  • Interesting how coming face to face with mortality changes a person. Enjoyed the movie immensely.

  • What is the name of the song that is playing in the beginning?

  • Belushi?!

  • Lol!! love it!!!!

  • I show this film in my class. It is such a great short film that has a beautiful script.

  • omg the turtle was so freakin' cute! XD

  • great idea. I like the editing a lot.

  • "and that's why someday apes really could take over the world"..... "Say more about that." .......

  • Guys, what is the last sentence of the movie? As I'm not a native speaker I just can't "decipher" it and it's probably vital ... :)

  • @Abiosix

    He says "How's right now?"

  • @nom9rouge Oh, thank you, thank you... :)

  • "So you're frightened by the turtle?"

    "*shudders*"

    xD

    I love turtles.

  • oh... this made me tear up :D brilliant!!

  • And sometimes short films like these make me believe that gems like these exist. LOL Brutally honest! Enjoy!

  • Very pleasing, very entertaining - and completely conventional in approach. What a charming experience you have put together, and so professionally as well. Mr. Pollak did the job - detestable yet amusing. I trust this small jewel will open a lot of doors for you and look forward to seeing more such elegant work in the future.

    Regards from Jakarta....

  • Taking care of business, it's all right, taking care of business, going out of sight.

  • One of the best short films on youtube. Liked and Faved!

  • Brilliant

  • My Narrative Short teacher at my college showed us this in our class today and I must say, probably the best short I've ever seen.

  • @NerualYergnik Have you tried "food fight" or "world builder"

  • Wow there is a lot of celebrities in this short.

  • Haha

  • Superb

  • Ooh I remember seeing this ages ago... I'm really glad I found it again ^^

  • She should use liquid soap.

  • @thedailyenglishshow but you can't clean liquid soap

  • good shit marouckie

  • Impeccable work, great actors, excellent story. And I agree ...I loved it too!!!

  • The concept in this short film is beautiful, I watched this film in high school, and even two years later I feel such a connection to the idea, and I believe many will agree.

  • I dont know if i understood the last part of the movie correct. Its about a doctor that is bored with his work/patients. After he got a "deadmessage" himself, he took great interest of his patients and really started to help them. My question? Is he really going to die soon, or isnt that the point at all? Was the other doctor teaching him a lesson?

  • This is hard question to answer, for it can be seen by one differently. Personally I don't believe it was joke, or a lesson, but rather a wake up call to one's self.. I think you got it wrong, I don't think he just randomly took interest in his patients, but rather feels "My Time is Up", so its pointless to continue living a lie. Its really up to viewers to imagine the rest of the film, by doing this, it can create a sense of motivation in "your" own life, and give "you" a wake up call as well.

  • thanks for sharing

  • cool they got Jorge Garcia and Kevin Pollack

  • i loved it too. 5 stars :)

  • oh gosh, I thought he had laid down and died.... but I guess that was the point

  • I loved it :) and great actors too...

  • Is it just me or does the patient guy in the grey top sound like the voice of the main guy in Ratatouie?

  • This film is very well done.I rate it 5 stars.

  • I bet its very expensive short film ha-ha.

    Very nicely done.

  • does he poop at the same time every morning?

  • Too bad it not like that in real life. My fucking life could use some real down to earth direction.

  • Awesome, this is the best short I've ever seen so far!!

  • what's that short film featuring this psychologist but as a manikin? I forgot the name of that short, it was hilarious!!

  • That was wonderfully amusing.

  • this is one of my fav vids lovey shots and well timed in the edit

  • GEORGE GARCIA!

  • It´s "Jorge", but me too: YAY!!! :)

  • lovely

  • i was expecting the doc to call at the end and say it was not his CAT scan report.but didnt happen.that would have had a gr8 twist and would have ended well

  • @zxcvqwer84 agreed

  • I found it mundane and predictable. Credibility is due to the fact that I

would find it very difficult if not impossible

to create a video of this caliber.

  • Honesty really is the best policy lol

  • Soooo good! I loved everything about it!

  • omg the guy from LOST

    ARGH I MISS LOST

  • @flamepunch8

  • Carpe diem!

  • Now THAT was a total surprise.....It was really good, really really good. But I was hoping that the phone call was the Doc calling to say she's made a mistake and he was gonna live after all :)) Ya' know 'Happily ever after' ...... Good job :))

  • yeah me to.. still a great movie :)

  • Man this is the greatest short movie I've ever seen. I can't forget about it and it has such good meaning too.

  • Minimaster just pwned way down there £:-)

  • terse yet powerful

  • This short film has a Woody Allen feel to it that I find entertaining. It's about honesty and how it can heal. "The truth will set you free".

  • hardcore awesomness funny

  • I always loved Kevin Pollack, it's about time I saw something I really enjoyed featuring him as the main character.

  • is that the fat guy from lost?

  • yes

  • great film!!

  • bleach kills anything...

  • Oh I know, I appreciate endings like that, only expressing that desire to see it end that way, knowing full well it doesn't leave the same effect or finish... same way when you watch movies and you know some character's going to die... the plot line won't work without them dying, but they're such a lovable character you don't want it to happen, hehe.

  • /salute

    This was phenomenal.

At the beginning I was "put off" by the character's initial interaction with the young doctor and wasn't sure if I'd relate to the character enough to "get into" the storyline... no fears there.

    This piece riveted me.

Thank you for doing this - you just earned yourself another subscriber - I want to see all the work you do!

  • Most of these comments are so loopy I had to say, this is a nice piece of work.

  • haha the soap remove the bacteria... soap never remove bacteria.....

  • Seriously? Wow I had no idea...

  • Amazing how you leave a "good feeling" even though the guy's gonna die.

Kind of a bittersweet ending. I was actually kind of hoping that the doctor would call back and tell him he had been misdiagnosed.

    Great film!!!
