You dont really need that much of ab workouts...I dont say its unnecesarry its not just all... The fastest way of getting 6 pack abs is doing more cardio and eat 5-6 small well balanced meals ... Try to eat high protein meals. Do cardio everyday you workout and even the days you dont workout. Do 15-40 mins of cardio !

if ur chunky.. cut carbs down toaround 50-100 grams daily and bodybuild 3 times weekly and do 10-20 min interval training 2 times weekly. sleep as much as possible.

I did my ab work outs intense! I thought that' all it really took. My stomach feels really tight and when I flex you can see them. But I want to know what I'm doing wrong.
I'm not sure if I'm eating right. I eat whole grains, rice, meat, chicken, beef. Fruits.

If your high on bodyfat, then you need to push your cardio routine to the next level, and the whole time u should be cringing in pain thinking "oh god i wanna stop oh god i wanna stop". This is good advice if you do not have the willpower to push yourself to collpasing.

Most ppl do not realize that the ab muscles are one of the only muscles that can endure being worked out almost everyday. A person can do abs up to 5 times a week. Spending 20 min of ab workout say 5 times a week can have somone actually seeing results in a 6 month stretch. Remember though when you do, do ab workout make sure you feel every contraction make your abs burn and never let your bodies momentum swing you around or its completely pointless.
yes there are many different muscles that can be worked hard like calves and your heart, but look up hernia the muscle may be strong but the tendons that connect your abdominal muscles to your body aren't and can tear if you overworked them i"m not saying this will 100% happen but i know quite a bit of people that developed sports hernia

make sure your eating correct. it may take you about 6 months to get the dream. eat plenty of complex carbs, and protein like nuts, salmon or tuna, eggs, eat 3-4 big meals a day, and you will start to change. I leanred all of this from lordmufasa, and im starting to see a change.

how did you know your bf%? did you measure or just guess? cuz if you guess you were probably wrong, sorry. people cant really survive with a sub 5% bf%, its impossible to maintain that, you need some kind of fat reserves to live. the lowest "healthy" bf% that people will reach without being a professional body builder is like 6% or 7%, which is still really, really low.
they measure us at school we need over 7% and under 25% to pass and it says clearly i had 4% and did not pass on the results i got in the mail. I run cross country and track and field and i weigh 105 and i have been trying to gain weight for well over 9 months now its incredibly hard and if i do gain weight its only muscle.

@lordmufasa Men can survive on that little of body fat, one of my friends has a bf% of 3 and he is very muscular and toned. My bf % is around 12-14 and I'm a female which is about the lowest you need to go to be considered healthy for a female. I'm a personal trainer.

well like i said, yoiur body fat percentage will determine the results you see. for me, since i have low body fat, i see results within 1-2 weeks. If you have more body fat it will take longer probably. Also, the whole idea is not to EAT food to burn fat! but to NOT eat food. But definitely when you eat, eat complex carbs like whole wheat bread, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, oats,etc. and lean protein/meats, such as skinless chicken, LEAN beef. Then throw in your veggies and you should be good

thats not really true great foods to eat are skinless chicken breast, bananas, any kind of nuts, fish, lean red meat, all vegetables, all other fruits,
then eat complex carbs. so like brown rice, whole grain bread etc. you wont gain fat even if you eat tons of those foods as long as you are working out hard enough to utilize them
