I think his theme was well structured except the ending where I saw no hint of how to resolve the dilemma. Also I believe it was "Two summers running" not five years of intellectual deadlock in Russell's autobiography.
Thanks for your comments! I am not sure if there is a clean resolution to the dilemma or if I want one. I will post the exact Russell quote here once I have Lynn Segal's "The dream of reality" at hand again next week.
