Not sure why there is this mean conversation below. Nick Cave wrote this song, this is a fairly new song from Dig Lazarus Dig. It is not a cover in any way. I love and respect Leonard Cohen and all of his poetry, but it's not Leonard Cohen's song in any way. Both are brilliant composers and performers. Nick Cave is highly influenced by Leonard Cohen and can often express himself in a similar fashion. If there is a Leonard Cohen version, post the link and be done with it. Until then, just enjoy!
