This is just such a sad song..........the particular line 'Maybe that is why you don't see faces like mine everyday' always gets to me. She really has spelled out that particular emotion. Its like one of those things that is quite common but is never really spoken out loud.

Then I started to listen more and more and I became so infected! :) Yes I know how you feel. OMGoodness, the only other artist I know who sings songs such as this is the mighty Lena Platonos (Λένα Πλάτωνος) with her piano, and she sings them in Greek! I am very impressed!

I don't really have a dramatic comment like those people who got lots of thumbs up, but I just wanna say: WOW. She's a good artist, a good person, and I just wanna kill those people who hurt her.
What she sings about is what makes her songs so powerful. Artists no matter who are subject to peoples views. I am sure she can take it. I will say this girl, should be signed sealed and have much money put behind her. I am hearing her myself for the first time, and I keep coming back. She is truly hew own, and someone better catch her before she is beyond demanded. All has a reason. For what she has been through, be it true or false, she can sing write, and she is beautiful.
Emilie autumn is awesome and I love the way she expresses her feeling through her songs. These songs are basically her life story yet ignorant people are completely oblivious to that fact and go on insulting her for whatever reason. Either that or they treat her like a piece of meat and go on talking about how sexy her body is or criticize the way she dresses, which is in fact a statement of who she is and not the way she would want people to view her.
<3 This song and the video are brilliant. But the lyric is "who will forgive me", not "who will forget me". That fits in with the following "no one knows I've done wrong".
Lovely voice, great feel for expressions, amazing piano performance, really talanted artist... I can listen it over and over again, and each time I hear it, it is like losing myself in her private world ... She definetly knows how to make the people sympathetic to her most intimate feelings and emotions ...

Sorry to comment again, but a few seconds after commenting, I just started sobbing. And that's not so unusual, me crying, but this time it wasn't for myself. Emilie is one of the first people I've shed tears for except for my mother. She's opened something in me that's be stowed away for ages: Empathy. This is just such a sad song..........the particular line 'Maybe that is why you don't see faces like mine everyday' always gets to me. She really has spelled out that particular emotion. Its like one of those things that is quite common but is never really spoken out loud.

Everyones comments are making me feel bad. Admittedly, I like Emilie Autumn, and I think she's such a strong person for going through what she has, but I haven't seemed to catch the 'fever' that some of you have. Sorry about that... :(

@ladyshadowslayer I used to feel like that. When I first came across her I knew I liked her and I also knew I should LOVE her, but I didn't. Then I started to listen more and more and I became so infected! :) Yes I know how you feel. But all we plague rats, even potential plague rats, know from the start that Emilie is someone to look out for because you just know you're doomed catch the plague one way or another. OMGoodness, the only other artist I know who sings songs such as this is the mighty Lena Platonos (Λένα Πλάτωνος) with her piano, and she sings them in Greek! I am very impressed!

What she sings about is what makes her songs so powerful. Artists no matter who are subject to peoples views. I am sure she can take it. I will say this girl, should be signed sealed and have much money put behind her. I am hearing her myself for the first time, and I keep coming back. She is truly hew own, and someone better catch her before she is beyond demanded. All has a reason. For what she has been through, be it true or false, she can sing write, and she is beautiful.

Emilie autumn is awesome and I love the way she expresses her feeling through her songs. These songs are basically her life story yet ignorant people are completely oblivious to that fact and go on insulting her for whatever reason. Either that or they treat her like a piece of meat and go on talking about how sexy her body is or criticize the way she dresses, which is in fact a statement of who she is and not the way she would want people to view her.

Lovely voice, great feel for expressions, amazing piano performance, really talanted artist... I can listen it over and over again, and each time I hear it, it is like losing myself in her private world ... She definetly knows how to make the people sympathetic to her most intimate feelings and emotions ...

There are millions of EA Songs on youtube, but I never find a good CD collection.

@VampireFair No, you can't find this song (and many other covers and songs) on any cd, and she haven't got any collection.. But search for the cd's and which songs who are on them^^

Sorry to comment again, but a few seconds after commenting, I just started sobbing. And that's not so unusual, me crying, but this time it wasn't for myself. Emilie is one of the first people I've shed tears for except for my mother. She's opened something in me that's be stowed away for ages: Empathy. I just think of my "darkest nights" and how Emilie's been through it too. No one should ever have to go through that, especially alone. And I also think of all her accomplishments. She's supergirl
