Funny you should ask. Its an American F-14 Tomcat and yes it has to do with the war. While the US/Allied Combined fleet was in a operational area a Russian Bomber got to close to the fleet and it was escorted away from the airspace by American fighter Aircraft before it was in weapones range.

Funny you should ask. Its an American F-14 Tomcat and yes it has to do with the war. While the US/Allied Combined fleet was in a operational area a Russian Bomber got to close to the fleet and it was escorted away from the airspace by American fighter Aircraft before it was in weapones range.

Dude, it's not impossible we have a good cause. The Russians just wanted to take over Afghanistan. Here's an example, During the Civil War the south was tired of paying tarrifs that didn't benefit there economy and having there rights as states taken away. So when they fired on Fort Sumter they were basically kicking the Union's ass at the beginning of the war.

Actually the Russians were repeatedly invited into Afghanistan by request of the then Afghan government to provide security and assist in fighting mujahideen rebels then in 1978 accepted the request.
