Its pretty sad she basically came to the realization that he didnt love her more just used her. I think though that she surpressed this feeling again. Its very traumatic, you can tell by the look in her eyes like shes broken.

I love the reaction that you saw on her face when she pushes her father down the stairs. She did it not really thinking more of an instinct reaction. She loves her father but she also hated him. She never came to accept the feeling of hate after she understood what her father did. I also loved when he looked at her in her eyes when he got up, he knew that she aknowledged that she sees what he has done and sacrificed, which he would thrown Nikki in the fire if it was to save himself.

Serious question about the first scene- how much do you think Nicki wants/wanted to live off the compound? I think on some level she genuinely wants to get away from all things Juniper Creek, but her failure to adapt to the outside world makes her want to go back. The disaster of a birthday party she through for Wayne kind of sums it up.

I like how she didn't mince her words, but made sure he got the message. "No, Bill, I would not like to have sex with you" . . . . and their facial expressions in that scene are priceless
