OMG, finally. I've been trying to find this song and who sang it since 1999. I remember being 8/9 years old and seeing the video on MTV in the morning. That's all I could remember and the tune of the song. I knew it was either sung by the Foo Fighters or Goo goo dolls. Now I've found it.

The hi-hat is the two cymbals that the drummer uses 2 hit (typically with his right hand over the left). The ride is the BIG cymbal that u dont "hit" but "ride" on with the bell that hes hitting during the chorus

The double tracking helps. Someone had put up an isolated vocal track on here from a Rock Band hack, but it looks like it's not up anymore. It was cool to listen to that and the other isolated tracks. There seems to be a drum one up though.
