i thot chen qi's genius could not be witnessed again because of his imperfection, but this kid, i think his idol is definitely chen qi, encapsulated chen's explosiveness, which is already a talent. n then he tries to perfect his backhand, with reflex n great recovery each point.
CHINESE TEAM SO FKING CROWDED, they say u hv to be genius to get in the chinese team, lol but i dun think even genius would hv much chances. best of luck to geniuses
Oh Sang Eun is just a stepping stone on the career path of the young Chinese rising star Lin Gaoyuan. Lin will be part of the next wave of unstoppable Chinese domination over the TT sport. #LOL
On so many TT videos I see your fanatical comment about Chinese domination. It gets annoying when you keep claiming Chinese superiority and put the LOL botton and five star thing at the end. By the way, the Chinese rising stars you are talking about lost against korean young stars in U21, and the champion at the end was actually the Japanese 16 yrs old Niwa Koki.
Seriously, I wonder how every time you get rated as the top comment though.
this was a very impressive win for Lin, because he is so young that its hard for him to generate the power for his forehand to overcome Oh's blocking style. He definitely had a disadvantage in style and yet pulled out a win. very impressive
@scylla24 i dont think so. his pace was definitely faster and his shot was strong enough. the only advantage oh had was in experience. overall lin had the advantage.
I've followed this kid since I first saw him in the world juniors December 09, and what I really like about him is his genius. While there are still many who'll beat him, you know he's learning every time he looses a ball. He stops and thinks in that way that only geniuses do. He's like the Messi of TT ;D
@forestloves china really is lacking in youth development, so i can see him and a couple of other people on the junior team having alot of chances to develop
@chardogthethug China lacking in youth development - are you kidding me? Aren't they the world's best in that department - every department - of table tennis?
@lumm71 haha yeah.... he has great reach, and his style is based off blocking, so he stands there motionless alot.... plus since he is quite tall, his speed and footwork aren't great
How many sports show what player will be a future number one at age 16? Lin Gaoyuan, remember that name!!!
