  • lol at 4:25. It's De Staat :p

  • wow, this is amazing, first time I've listening Louis Andriessen. Like it.

One question: Louis works are near to Xenakis?

  • @ishmaelon No, 0 resemblance to Xenakis. Andriessen is (more or less) minimalist.

  • @ViewerNotes Thanks, man. I'm new listening to this...so, would you be kind and recommend me something, please?

  • @ishmaelon If you like Andriessen give a chance to Hoketus, De materie, M is for Man Music Mozart, Rosa a horse drama or a bit different work like Symphony for open strings. And if you like Andriessen you probably like Michael van der Aa. If you like minimal...Steve Reich, Ph Glass, John Adams, Morton Feldman, etc. It's a huge field to explore

  • @ViewerNotes Thank you and yeah its a HUGE field to explore, but now I'm into prog rock - King Crimson - and "post-rock"... that's why I feel this interesting, love to experiment - with my poor knowledge of music - and listen pure sound of instruments.

I'll search and read about some of that artist you mentioned above and say my little opinion of them.

    Thank you again.
