superb..My own humble beginings so narrated with your words. As a child of two, travelling the Irish sea, so imprinted in my minds eye my first glimpse of a star filled sky whilst stood alone on deck. The sea wild and the rancid smell of the seasick below deck. So many bodies crammed in to little space.
