After all, every newly grown tree that is then buried in a landfill represents "geologically sequestered carbon" under the ideology that defines carbon in the air as pollution.

Boiling water to recycle paper uses LOTS more energy than chopping down a tree and planting a new seed.

my teacher told us, the earth or nature will balance itself, when it's hot, more water steamed, = more cloud, = blocking the sun, reduce heat, then it gets cooler, or colder, then cloud easier to form rain, then we have less cloud, then we are warm again, it's a cycle which the earth will do well to balance itself. Environmentalists = Extremists. Aren't they? just looking their way of extreme action, protesting, damaging things and orders.

agw was proven false not only is the earth NOT warming because of human activity, its not even warming...its cooling. the winter of 2007/8 was the LONGEST winter in recorded history. that is to say it didnt break any records for temprature dips but it remained near freezing for two months past normal spring time weather. frost warnings in july is a huge indicator that the earth is not warming

I live in Australia not US hence diffrent laws but looks like most nations are going to adopt some form of carbon tax... just think as time goes on new tech come about new tax.... use to u paid a the toll man to cross the bridge then came the rego/insurance .. next be carbon tax on ya electric car for the hydrogen production(ie coal to make electricity to convert water)
