@PaintballPancake our band at school has a woman as a conductor... is there truly a problem or are you being sarcastic? cuz it isn't funny... my conductor is even one of the best school conductors I've ever had the pleasure of listening to... so I don't really see where you're trying to go with this... :S

5:30 can be a bit more grand I think. Its like the goal you reach at the end of a journey, the Holy Grail after a long and arduous(?) quest. So yeah, I think it should be played more grandly and broadly.

Lower brasses r not strong enough... not enough Tubas players to give bass support...Trumpet Solo is nt too good... Well this brought back good memories. Nice and fast. Anyways the trumpet soloist probably got a talking to about that reaction of his. If not, for those who simply don't know: if you make a mistake, don't show it. Act like it didn't happen and keep going. :) You can beat yourself up for it later after the performance.

I say it was good, I know the speed was supposed to be fast, but more bounce to it. I dunno, I think the trumpet soloist should've rested a measure or two before to set his lips. Or if not, don't make a dissapointed face, even though some people could hear the mistake, the people that can't hear it saw it. My opinion(:
