If thats true, why did WIP pay money for demation? He had no proof he was dating a mobster's sister or that he was too hungover to play. If it was accurate, stick by the story. CC reported Philadelphia Flyers captain Eric Lindros had missed a game against the Penguins on Feb15 due to being hung over. Claiming the excuse the Flyers gave for Lindros missing the game was a cover-up. The Flyers immediately sued WIP resulting in an out of court settlement. Four years later Flyers General Manager, Bobby Clarke admitted the story was accurate to a group of reporters. Two years after that Flyers owner and Chairman, Ed Snider,went public to announce the the story was true.

Only Carton's BS bio and wikipedia say that there wasnt really a suit and Clarke was protecting Lindros. Clarke HATED Lindros' guts- even leaking their contract negotiations to the press. The Facts are: Infinity PAID for what was said on the air, WIP ISSUED an apology, and Carton was sent packing to Cleveland. Now hes in NY-you can have him.
