I used adobe photoshop (not included with the computer), imovie, and garageband.
does adobe photoshop cost money??

Yeah, it's a lot more then 20, it's over 100. But there are cheaper alternatives, like Jasc Paint Shop Pro and Animation shop which are priced at, I think, $20-30. ^_^
aww that sucks...i bet those arnt as good quality though
Probably so, but they still work just fine. Photoshop, most likely, is more harder to work with as well versus Paint Shop.
